!!! A new self-indulgent character!!

Ok so. Y’all know I like vampires a lot. I’m sure u do. I like them a whole lot. So I made another one. And I’ll make a few more too cos don’t you ever think I have self control 😡

Anywhomst, his name is Rehan! He was in the same sect as Siradiou and was actually a junior that greatly looked up to him and virtually stuck himself to Siradiou’s side after he was initiated. That’s kind of always been his personality, someone that tends to cling to people.

Anyway, he and Sira were really very close when they were vampires serving u dee their god, but the camality tore them apart. It changed everything for them both. For Siradiou, he had lost the structure of the “church”, but he obviously had a mother purpose to live for. Something to keep him sane through the years. But for Rehan, he’d lost everything. Including Siradiou. This new purpose had forced him to stay away from Rehan and actively put him at arm’s length, and the worst part was that Rehan didn’t know why.

So Rehan just.. kinda deteriorated. He learned that he’d have to spend eternity alone. He didn’t want to die either, so he simply lived alone. But that’s what he hated the most. Being alone. So he would go through this cycle of clinging and falling in love with a human, be a splendid vampire and be really calm and happy and full of bliss, and then the human would die or leave him and he would lose his mind and become a destructive, rampaging demon that tore apart anything in his sight. Then he would find another human to live until he couldn’t love anymore and then rinse and repeat. He is always going through this cycle with a very depressive episode in the middle of a rampage and finding love, so yes. He’s clearly struggling.

But despite all this, the most important thing that we know is that Rehan was never meant to be a staple character in the book. And yet... 👀👀
