Highschool
Added 2023-05-28 22:37:48 +0000 UTCAlright! In an effort to explore further Nicky’s past, I thought that we can get into highschool! Unfortunately, Chris went to the same highschool as Nicolas, coming in as a freshman when he was a junior. As such, he is thankful that he only had to suffer Chris’ presence for 2 years. But they were 2 years filled with stress, sadness and anger.
Lots and lots of anger.
Nicky—if you don’t know—actually doesn’t really get angry much. Even when talking about his father and Sofia and his absent mother, he never speaks with anger about them. That does not apply to Chrisander. When the conversation comes to him, Nicky is nothing BUT angry. And that was a lot of highschool. Looking back, Nicky says that he felt like that anger was changing him. Making him into someone he really ever thought he could ever be. Before Chris came to his school, he was popular, with a wide circle of friends and there WAS peace. When Chris came, there was now a schism, with many people who Nicky had once valued falling to Chris’ side. It made him always angry.
And he believes Chris knew that, cos he NEVER let himself get caught alone. Like as if Chris was.. scared of him. In hindsight, Nicky believes that he had a lot to fear. When he thinks back on that time, he knows that his teenage brain was fully capable of doing something dangerous, even fatal 💀
