She is beloved by the residents and is really good with old people She totally believes in ghosts and thinks one of her favorite residents followed her back to her little apartment and is haunting her place. She has 2 small dogs but rescued as a special needs. She has this special soft spot for animals who no one else would take care of and love - hence why she is attracted to Aaron

Dora is an ambivert individual, generally enjoying small gatherings but becomes the Belle of the ball when her extrovert sneaks out (watch out Nicole she can out pop Poppy when she’s on her game.) Dora loves her family dog, and has recently took in a parakeet that needed rehoused. Dora is on the fence about ghosts in general but loooooves the lore.

She met Aaron at the escape room where they were the only 2 patrons for their tour. She likes Aaron for his sweetness and, finally, realizes she can be her own sweet self with him. He is neither impressed nor intimidated by her intelligence as he understands none of what she does professionally.

She also inherited a large sum of money when her great died but she hides it well and you’d never know she was rich. She watches a lot of documentaries and recently got into the paranormal and is deciding on what she thinks but yes she thinks it’s likely, and it would explain the weird noise she hears from the attic in the library…. Stereotypically, she’d have a cat BUT she’s not like other girls/librarians and actually owns two golden retrievers!!! One named Harper (after her favorite author) and one named Sinatra (favorite singer)

2023-10-10 17:10:11 +0000 UTCagree with librarian! & not only does she believe in ghosts, but there’s a lovely library ghost, probably named william, that she has a special affinity for. there’s a second library ghost probably named janet or ethel who’s a real menace. she argues with janet/ethel on the daily. and she likely has 3 cats that all sleep in bed with her. her cats are on a very specific diet with strict meal times. they do NOT eat dry food. these cats are her children and she loves to talk about their different personalities like they’re human

It’s possible though that she’s a dog person, and if she is, she has a dog that looks similar to her. If she’s a cat person, then Aaron is probably allergic to cats. And her job - she’s a bank teller.
