Changes Coming to Our Patreon!

Patrons of Patreon, it's been a great first 6 months! Thank you so much for the support and interacting in the comments and on the lives! We've learned what works best, and we have some ideas to improv it.

The biggest change is we are doing away with the tier system for now, and going to a ONE TIER Patreon. Moving forward, the only tier available will be the $5 tier.

Why are we doing this? In a nutshell, we want all patrons to get the best benefits and make it easier to grow our community. We want all patrons to get to see the Family Meal Livestreams, see Early Access videos and feel completely included. We don't want a price point to stand in anyone's way. We have also found Patreon makes it difficult to provide the benefits promised in the Franchisee Tier, i.e. personalized video sharing.

How will this work? If you are already a Regular ($5 Tier) Patron, you do NOTHING. You're good to go. If you are an Employee ($10 Tier) or Franchisee ($25 Tier) Patron, you will have to manually change your tier to the Regular Tier. Here is how to do that (click the link for instructions): How do I edit my membership? You will have until January 31 to do this!

NOTE: If you paid for the FULL YEAR in advance, you cannot downgrade your tier until your year has ended. Your Employee or Franchisee Tier will remain as long as needed but others will not be able to join. We will send you a reminder around your end-of-year to cancel and re-join at the new, lower tier. You still get the gift and/or benefits mentioned below

What about my Employee and Franchisee Benefits I already paid for? If you are an Employee who paid the FULL YEAR in advance, we are going to compensate you with a gift. I will message you individually about what this is and how to get it. If you are a current Franchisee, regardless of when you joined or how much you have paid for, we will honor those premium benefits completely. You will still get your welcome video (if you haven't already), free end-of-year gift AND the Cameo-style personalized character video.

What about the Discord? The Discord will remain unchanged. If you have the Employee or Franchisee Tier color designation over there, congrats! You are grandfathered into that!

We will make these changes official on February 1, 2023. We will not allow any new Employee or Franchisee Tier subscriptions starting today.

So, what does all this mean? We will take a hit financially at first, so this may seem like an odd choice, but we want to create an inclusive, simple community. It means EVERYONE will get the same awesome benefits! We have found the content on here works best when more people participate. So we want the Character Vlogs, the Character Q&A's, the Family Meal Livestreams, the Early Access to be available to everyone! This will make it easier to promote the Bistro Huddy Patreon and really build a thriving, easily-accessed community over time. Perhaps one day we will add more tiers, but this will do for now!
