You can actually feel these people and their back stories. It does not feel like itβs one man playing them. They all have their own energy and own personalities. Servers do a lot of things beyond taking and serving orders for their station. Running hot food and refilling drinks for ALL stations, for starters. Tip pooling is fair.

When I tip, I put cash into the server's hand, and say, "This is for you." Most servers are good. Some are excellent. A few are absolute crap. Crap does not deserve reward. Crap tips mean, "Find another way of supporting yourself."
