HAPPPPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I am so sorry I didn't say that sooner! This last week I was meant to be enjoying holidays with my wonderful husband! ... Instead we have both been sick as dogs! I've had covid! :( And it has just been awful. Exhausted non-stop, just feeling general BLAH. But I am finally starting to feel myself again and able to make videos again!
So here is my first one back! And I'd love to know your thoughts and experience with this: the new Omega releases. So, during Omega Days I can't tell you how excited I was for the new drop and how excited I was to see some of these watches in person....... Months went by... Now it's been nearly a year... And my AD hasn't seen a single new Omega come through. They've had certain new Rolexes, and new Tudors... But not a SINGLE new Omega release!
And you know, it's not just them! I called 2 more of my AD's and they've had a similar thing happen. None of them have seen the new green Seamaster, and none of them have seen the new colourful Constellations & ATs. And it got me thinking... like... WTF IS GOING ONNNN?! It's been nearly a year!
IDK, is it the same where you live?! Have you seen any of the new Omegas in person?! I have only seen the new green Seamaster (because a friend of mine owns it). But I've seen nada through the ADs.
I guess it just got me wondering what Omega is playing at, and wondering if they are kinda doing a Rolex move here... IDK... what do you guys think?! I'd love to know all of your thoughts! <3

Gringa!! I hope you and James are having a great start to the New Year!! I do hope that Omega recognizes the hate Rolex has brought upon themselves with scarcity, and works to not go down that path. I have not in the market for an Omega nor seen the AD cases, but I was looking for a Cartier Santos and saw the same issue for Cartier at several ADs this past year. Lots of "exhibition watches" but none for sale. And the same "We can put your name on the waiting list" attitude. Maybe the ADs have seen how they have created a weird market with Rolex, and they are saying "we did it with Rolex, we can do it again with Omega, Cartier, or whomever. Long Live the Cult(s)!

But at one of the Omega A.D.s near me I picked up a 39mm constellation with a Sedna gold bezel & brown dial on a leather strap on sale. Brown isn't my favourite colour. But this looks amazing. Keep up the good work. I would love to see Roger W Smith review But I doubt that would happen. Happy New Year & all the best, to you & watch papi.
