I may have accidentally deleted the tier instead of changing it though. Um, sorry. It wouldn't let me type a new number. Or so I thought.
(Sighs deeply) It was a bit of a moment, I'm sorry.
Basically though, I've decided that if you pledge anything at all, you get early access to episodes (usually the Friday before their official release on Tuesday). Patreon's new fee structure is...unwise, and I don't want all of you to miss out just because they messed things up and then I also messed things up trying to fix them.
Anyway, point being, if you want to go to Patreon and tick that you want that reward, then it's all good. Regardless, if you are a Patron, then you get early access to episodes now, regardless of pledge level.

Currently nothing, everyone gets the same thing, but starting next month it'll be the equivalent of the old $2 tier, where only people on that tier or above have early access to episodes.

2017-12-15 09:54:58 +0000 UTCJust in time for them to back off. What is infuriating is that overall I approve of the concept of the changes they were making, just not the implementation. People who thought they were giving X/month and didn't know that the creator was getting Y. That plus the fact that the entire credit-card system is a massive cash grab that has funneled 3-5% of our economy into the hands of a few companies who don't actually provide much in the way of service for it. All they would have needed to do would be to put in the reward tier a full explanation of the fees and then give people the option of increasing their pledge so that the creator got the set amount or giving a set amount with the creator getting less.
