This review contains spoilers after about the 45 second mark, so if you haven't seen The Force Awakens...er...do that, it's cool and I recommend it?

I definitely liked the film. Just the right balance of Definitive Good vs Evil and People Are Reformable/Can Fall/etc that makes Star Wars feel like Star Wars, something the prequel trilogy never quite hit upon. Rey and Finn are awesome, Poe... Quite cool, but since he was missing assumed dead for what felt like most of the film it's hard to get a proper read on him as a character yet for me. Old characters felt /right/, both in terms of performance and writing but where they were at this point in their lives given the events between episodes 6 and 7.
