It’s a Wanderings (?) journal a friend bought me a while ago. It’s very pretty but not that great to write in if you use fountain pen, but it makes an excellent prop 🙂

I think we at least know his opening salvo. Rosamund explains this to Caroline in "Interest in your tracts of land" S3E03. We know Rosamund has a Leo up her sleeve to parry that thrust. What we don't know is if the Baron has any additional avenues of attack.

Jill described Weston Mabry as "superficially handsome" but also said that he didn't apologise when he stepped on the dancers feet which made me think he wasn't fleet of foot so I imagined leaning towards 'stocky'. It been over 15 years since then (as this is when she met Hugo, married, had Edmund who is now ~15) and I imagine Mabry doesn't get a lot of exercise and isn't wanting for food. Maybe all the 'Barons' in the universe are amalgamated in my head and Baron Harkonen tips the whole lot into the overweight category. Or maybe it's just a trope for the bad guy to be overweight. Or maybe I'm just the sort of writer who will bend the fabric of the whole universe to get in a cheap joke.

I rather prefer the expression when the grenade ricochets off your shield spell at exactly the correct angle and range to return the courtesy. Fifteen quatloos that the Baron is one of those villains who maintains the superficially handsome good looks and muscled physique of their youth, just to be extra villainous. We can settle the bet when Weston steps onstage or at the next vibestream, whichever comes first.

Baron Mabry, rules lawyer. Every DM's "favourite" type of player. But does Weston realise that Rosamund has got re-married yet? Quite possiby not. I love it when the smug expression of someone who's just thrown a grenade at your plans crumples when it goes 'firzt'. Their nose typically does a lovely little twitchy thing. Oh! I bet Weston is overweight. Can I see how close I can get to calling him "Weighs-a-ton" to his face? (I can imagine Charlotte doing that, I probably shouldn't be as excited to emulate the behaviour of an 11-year old girl)

I was there going, 'what can I get her to wear?' and the black dress is a little bit...Merry Widow for a formal occasion so the veil came in very handy :D
