I live in Texas, and we have the privilege of getting these from both the West Coast.. think Cali... and the Great South.. I saw someone put FUBAR but didn't give any background. F&*$% up beyond all recognition, and it's cousin SNAFU... Situation normal, all !#%%&^ up. then we have the 'one fry short of a happy meal" and it's step-half-brother 'dumber than a box of rocks with a hole in the bottom' If you come here, and someone asks you if you want a coke... be prepared for them to ask you what type as in the south, "coke" is the general term for a soda, pop, etc. and if you really mess up the follow-up question, you might just hear "bless your heart"... but thems also fighting words. and I may, or may not have used these words in a single sentence. hush your mouth, Fixin, I rekon, over yonder, hotter than blazes, her knickers in a knot ... "Hush your mouth, I'm fixin to get the picnic out and rekon were going to sit over yonder at that tree cause it's hotter than blazes and yer ma already has her knickers in a knot over it."
