I'm not gonna lie I sinned I watched that fucking remake first and thought it was ok but this one feels like there is more soul put into it more emotions but there is one thing you can't beat and that is steve motherfucking mcqueen he was a man's man for sure.

When movies were well written and had good plots. You got to wade through alot of bullshit to find a good movie these days. I put alot of it on these new directors. I don't understand how most of these hacks get these big jobs. I watched this movie with my stepfather when I was like 15 and I really didn't get into it. I only knew Steve McQueen from reruns of Wanted Dead or Alive and Magnificent Seven at that time. Bullitt is one of the greatest car flix of all time. To remake it is a terrible idea. I say original is almost always better. The day Hollywood remakes Enter The Dragon is the day I stop watching new movies! I'll watch this one again just to see what I don't remember. This is a great film, most remakes suck ass & great flicks like this shouldn't be touched. I loved Steve McQueen & Dustin Hoffman in this. The Getaway, The Great Escape, The Magnificent Seven, The Thomas Crown Affair, Bullitt & The Towering Inferno are some of my favourite McQueen flicks. Hoffman was also a savage in Straw Dogs & Marathon Man ... great actors. Nice pick brother, love ya!
