Where else can I crowdfund you? Have you considered other ways besides patreon? Paypal probably isn't the best way to take donations but I guess it's a starting place for the conversation of - how else can I financially contribute to the EZA payroll.

On the one hand, what's 2,38 every six months. On the other hand, you're obviously right. I got the email and didn't quite get it, thought I'd leave it alone, but your comment made me open my eyes. The thing is, (even though I'm a low tier patron), does it matter to the EZA, as they aren't getting a clear view of their income (assuming more people, especially high amount patrons stop doing it as well)?

I just received the patreon changes email. I currently am a $1/month pledge and that charge will become $1.38. EZA will receive $0.95 of that. Over 6 months that will be $8.28 charged, netting $5.70. If I instead stopped my monthly pledges and pledged $6 once every 6 months, I would only be charged $6.52 and EZA would get the same $5.70. Patreon will continue to batch charges across creators but take the fee as if they are individual charges. This is a sneaky attempt to make more money. If they need more money for operations they should transparently raise their 5% cut instead of trying to portray this as being processing charges.

I enjoyed your chat with Colin, there was some good insight. I do feel Colin did have some words of wisdom, especially with the studio, I felt Kinda Funny definitely lost something when it moved to the studio and hope the same doesn't happen here.
