Sony isn't my friend though. They are a massive corporation that spent thousands of dollars putting this event together. An event that they have done for three years now. So yes, it's safe to have some expectations that Sony would put on a better event than they did. Saying that something is going to be low key doesn't mean that it's excused from being bad. It was a bad show. Not bad because it lacked big announcements but bad because it was boring and inconsequential. Greg Miller probably should have hosted the entire thing seeing how his segment was the only good thing about the show imo. It was quick, had lots of jokes and managed to get some new info about psn name changes. Outside of that the only thing of consequence said by the devs was that God of war is going to be 25 hours long. Tldr: if your going to do a roundtable discussions then atleast do a good roundtable discussion, not seven people strung out on couches randomly chiming in about things. For what it's worth I think large discussion panels are a waste of time so that obviously factors into my criticism.

Love and respect is... love and respect. No one said anything about sunshine and rainbows. Lets say a friend/family member told you they’d make you a sandwich for free and asked for nothing in return. Now lets say it turns out to be “lackluster”, would you tell them that? Would you eat the whole say it was disappointing? If you preach love & respect, then I’m sure you’d say “thanks” at the very least. Maybe you set the bar too high, maybe they had an off day, or maybe they’re just not very good at making sandwiches. Whatever the case, you should be respectful in your criticism (especially when that word is half your mantra). You did a better job in this post of pointing out the flaws of the show in a respectful, objective way. Was the show meh ? Yeah id say so, but it wasn’t made by some mindless bot. A lot of people busted their asses for that show and that entire weekend. Sony doesn’t owe us a show. Its not up to them to make the Betting Special impactful. The 9 know, more than anyone, how tough this business is, so all i ask is that we practice what we preach. L&R

Love and Respect is not smiling all the time and say everythin's sunshine and rainbows. The playstation "presents" (or whatever it was, they never really defined what it was gonna be, just "low key") was dull, in whichever way you can describe it. It wasn't dull because of the lack of announcements, it was dull because they talked about nothing, and no one was really hosting or asking interesting questions. So yeah, it's not "salt" (damn I hate that word...), it's just disappointment.

Thank you for trying to make the final bets more realistic. I LOVE them being dreams and difficult. Just not so near impossible. Like Shenmue 3 being announced versus James Cameron announcing the next Avatar game by burping the release date while simultaneously being in full Avatar makeup and firing a rocket launcher full of confetti at the crowd type bet. I love the betting shows and final bets are dreams and I would never call them pointless. Love and Respect! P.S.....during PSX I kept singing "releeaase mmeeee."
