Hello Brandon! Maggie/Dragonazul85 here again. A couple weeks ago I wrote to you about feeling some what left out in the community. I'm reporting back in with good news! Since you read my comment, I've notice more people greeting me in chat and I've also been making more of an attempt to talk with more people in chat as well. On top of that, I recently attended the mini meet up that Blood hosted in Florida. It was great to meet him and the other allies who attended. It was a small group but everyone was super nice and I'm excited to experience that again. Which leads me to my question. I know that so far EZA has hosted meet ups at PSX and also for the anniversary in March. As someone who lives on the other side of the country, I want to try and attend one of these in the future. So, are you planning on making these two events a yearly tradition? Also, any plans to possibly add a third out in California in the future? I really appreciated Blood taking the time to host a meetup in Florida but I know that can't happen on a regular basis. Thanks again and, as always, love and respect!

Happy New Year, Jones! I know you've commented on GTA V's Story Mode DLC before, but this time I ask how you feel about what Rockstar may have completed of the fabled DLC being repurposed as an online only DLC? The free heist is MASSIVE, but also extremely intricate. I can't actually play it as organizing people together to tackle it is outside my current abilities, but watching it on GTA Series Videos has been fun. But do you find yourself in the same boat being possibly locked out of the update, because of the online &amp; crew restrictions? Clearly it was better for Rockstar to release it at all than not, but I personally am unsure what to think about it, and would love to hear your take. Have you ever considered quickly mentioning the EZA merch store during the EZA podcast? I've been listening to the RT podcast and they often end their sponsorship bits by giving a quick shoutout. Maybe something to consider in the future when revamping the merch store? Another suggestion is to maybe comment on other channel's videos using the official Easy Allies account? It's a nice positive thing to do and can help identify EZA within other communities. Pronunciation for my surname just in case :) - Ve (as in Ve-nice) and lla (as in llama). Together: Vel-la.

Hey Jones! When showing off smaller presents, tournament prizes, and similar items, would it be possible to add a separate camera off to the side like the close up cam during gundam streams or like when card games are streamed? It's hard to tell what I'm being shown a lot of the times with the current setup. I've also noticed the majority of your videos are significantly quieter than what they used to be and compared to other videos I watch. It's not a big deal but still a minor nuisance. Finally, regarding the format of your Far Cry 5 preview, I dig it. Love and Respect, and I hope you had a great holiday.

Hey Jones, I just watched the Farcry 5 preview, and i have to say i wasnt really feeling the style of the preview. To be frank, i don't really care all that much about what missions you carried out and what you did in general, i care more about your impressions, how much of an impact they left on you, what they did well and what could have been better, and i don't think that preview really communicated that. Granted blood had already done a preview, but even so i don't think your coverage really communicated anything meaningful to me personally at least. Hey Jones, I don't comment often on Patreon (I mean look at that username) but I fear you may be overlooking the masterpiece that is Pro Skater 3. Okay it's not THPS2 with it's fancy 98 on metacritic, but it's got a solid 97. It built on everything that made THPS1&amp;2 great, and it laid the groundwork for what would become Activision's flagship annual franchise of the early 2000s. It fully realizes the combo-based gameplay of the series and is considered by many (including Jeff Gerstmann, the people's THPS fan) to be peak THPS, and I hope you give it a shot alongside THPS2. L&amp;R and happy holidays

Jones, how was the meet-up at this years PSX? Was wondering if you will arrange those in the future also? I'm from Finland and I was planning on coming to PSX next year and hopefully join the possible meet-up at the same time. P.S I just had to correct you on one point about Leia remembering her mother is impossible in Return of the Jedi (you mentioned this in the Last Jedi Spoiler mode) - she is talking about mrs. Organa, not Amidala ;)

That might be a difference in philosophy - consumer advice versus entertainment. In my opinion EZA's reviews help people decide if it's worth purchasing a game. If a game is obviously bad there's no point in spending production time on it. I don't disagree that it could be fun hearing about their thoughts on bad games but perhaps that would fit better as a segment on Frame Trap or something.

Just a thought, but why don't you try extending the fade out by a few seconds at the end of every stream instead of manually clicking after you take a drink? Then you can close every episode with your signature cheers/take-a-drink as the feed fades away. I think it'd look smooth as a sign-off. -Julian/FUNKNOWN

Hey Brandon, I want to tell a great EZA story that happened to me at PSX. So when I missed out on the cool Frank West bag from capcom booth, while waiting in line at the Rick and Morty VR booth. Someone who was behind me said that he had no need for his and handed me his. It was great and I saw him briefly at the EZA meetup. If possible I would like to say thank you and that it really made my day. I just hope he's at least $1 patreon so that I can give him my thanks. Happy holidays

Happy Holidays, I just want to thank you and EZA for everything you have done. I've been a fan of gametrailers since I believe 2005 or 2006. I discovered GameTrailers while I was in Japan on a study abroad trip. I was in a Hostel and E3 was going on. I really wanted to see the game trailers and I found your site. I found myself visiting the site more and more and it became my go to site for trailers and reviews. Invisible Walls was actually the first podcast I started to listen to. (Everyone had cartoon cut outs back then and no I didn't start from Episode 1) When GameTrailers shut down I was saddened by it and couldn't believe it happened. Luckily you guys came back as EZA and EZA has made my 2017 better. I hope 2018 is another good year for EZA. Keep up the good work.

Hello Mr Jones! Regarding reviewing worse games I don't agree with you. I think it adds a mix to the reviews that is important. Watching Angry Joe ramble about mistakes in a funny way for an hour can be very entertaining (you don't need to make those kinds of long-form reviews though). I agree that it isn't the best use of your time when time is limited but I think you should definitely consider a way to review more games from the entire spectrum in the future. Maybe they could be shorter and not as production heavy to save some effort?

Why have a Monthly QandA and a weekly Q&amp;A. Also they have 8 people on the monthly Q&amp;A. The aftershow would be like 2am for them most of the time so it's not a good idea and scheduling earlier is not possible because of other stuff that they shoot.

Can I suggest an Easy Allies Podcast: Aftershow so that the allies would be able to answer all the questions that was posted? This is regarding to Love and Respect segment for the EZA podcasts. It seems that out of all the questions being posted, Kyle only chooses the selected few to be answered. Patrons like myself would love to hear opinions from the other allies but felt disappointed that their questions do not get answered. I understand that having more than one ally does took a lot time to get their respective response as well as other multiple factors that decide on what questions to be answered (Podcast shot late at night, biggest video game stories/events happened that week, perhaps Kyle might be choosy). Even though that you do a special L&amp;R edition for certain podcasts, it can be frustrating that we had to repeatedly post our questions when requested for L&amp;R only for it not to be selected during the podcast [I have done this a few times (including one for the 12/13/2017 podcast) and I just could not be bothered, which is why I always post my questions for your Cup of Jones, knowing that my questions will be answered] I recognised that EZA do a group Q&amp;A every month, but it does pose the same problem as the L&amp;R questions Thus, having an Easy Allies Podcast: Aftershow exclusively for patrons would be a great idea. If possible, perhaps schedule the shooting for the podcast at an earlier timeslot. You can even use the games patrons give for L&amp;R to be incorporated into the upcoming gameshow idea you had with Huber as the host. Your opinion to this suggestion is greatly appreciated.

While I agree there's a certain amount of responsibility you hold by keeping things float using patron money there's also a limit to how much we should be expecting out of you. It feels like we're all at a xmas dinner with all 6000+ of us at your house, and you're graciously trying to accommodate each and every one of us, but while those few people who're heard get what they want, not everyone will. Pardon the metaphor but at some point you need to just tell everyone "This is what we're eating, this is where you're sitting. Don't eat what you don't want" You can't please us all, much as you may want to. I feel as though it'd lighten your burden as well as eliminate divides within the community if there were more things we didn't hold control over. Read aloud whatever you feel is relevant but I do actually have a legit question to ask too! What do the allies do for xmas gifts with each other? Secret Santa? Or hold a little get together of your own?

Merry Christmas Jones! This might be a little light-hearted for Cup of Jones, but I'm genuinely curious. When November hits and the weather starts turning, I dig back in to my all time favorite PS2 game and my favorite 'cozy' game, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Something about the weather and atmosphere always puts me in the mental space to revisit that classic. Like curling up in front of a fire with a classic book, I wrap up in blankets, get some snacks, and let that triumphant soundtrack and beautiful art style take me away to another world. Do you have any similar game that you find yourself revisiting simply because of how it makes you feel during a certain time of year, or am I just weird? Love and respect always, Richard.

Are you familiar with the Bright Sun Films channel on YouTube? You mentioning the weather in Florida reminded me of it. It delves into the history of interesting structures that were abandoned for a plethora of reasons, such as storm damage, poor design choices, and bad business decisions, including some that never got past the planning stage. Just wanted to talk about the meaning of average. Average doesn't mean 2.5/5. There are different types of averages mean,median and mode. Mean is a sum of values of a data set divided by number of values EZA mean is 3.85. Median is the middle value separating the greater and lesser halves of a data set which is 4. The last one Mode is the most frequent value in a data set which is 4. Usually the average that everyone uses is the mean. So the average score for EZA is 3.85.

Hey Mr. Jones! Whether or not you do an episode next week, I'll leave my question for NOT the next episode, per your request. Rather, this will be for the 2018 edition, and I did not want to forget about it, so if you want to wait to answer this PLEASE DO SO. While January will have the GOTY deliberations, I was curious if yourself or any other Allies were willing to do a video/podcast/stream sometime in the month where all of you want to go over the games/events/etc. you want to see in 2018. Not a defined countdown or "Our X number of games to watch" type of deal. Is this too much work? It would be a nice preview for the upcoming year and it would be a neat touchstone to go back one year from now to see how all of your feelings/hopes/dreams/opinions have been shaped over that 12 months. I hope yourself and the other Allies have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Hello Jones. Would you consider removing the $10 patron lock on the Community Showcase post after that stream is over? Several times during the stream you tell people to go check out the post if they want links etc. but it's locked for the everyone except the people who can already submit to it.
