Don't Skip - Rocket Knight Adventures

On a new episode of Don't Skip, we take a look at Rocket Knight Adventures, a true Konami classic that never quite got the love it deserved.

Just  a heads up, I know the scheduling for Don't Skip has been inconsistent and I'm making an effort to change that. You can expect one Don't Skip a month from this point forward. When exactly in the month it shows up will be flexible depending on game releases and other scheduling.

Thanks everyone!

It’s so sad Konami is so weird these days. I wikipedia them and it seems they have thousands of employees and makes a considerate amount of money every year, so they have all the possibilities in the world to come back. Sad, sad.!

I was starting to get a little worried watching this, as no platform was being mentioned, but we got it finally, no worries. I was just thinking that is this a re-release that's come out in recent months or something, but nope, just a cool retro Don't Skip. I'm fine with this concept as well, nicely written and edited!

In the case of this game specifically, I'd imagine the reason it's a Don't Skip instead of a review is simply due to its age. To answer your other question it was a Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis game.

i watched this after watching the kirby review and don't really understand the point of a don't skip, the game was completed, the length similar to a review the format also very similar to a review, just lacking a score at the end.

no platform seemed to be mentioned if it was i missed it

I love don't skip! Super excited to see a new one

RKA is one of my favorite sega genesis games , there's also a sequel simply called "sparkster" which comes in 2 forms - one on the genesis that's kind of a full blown second entry to RKA that is even harder and more focused on using the jetpack to solve platforming puzzles and the solo entry on the super nes which is more of a remake of RKA then a full sequel. There was also an illfated perhaps best forgotten 3D sequel released early last generation called "rocket knight" but that one never quite recaptured the magic.

Oh man, I wasn't introduced to these games until that XBLA version on the 360. Such good vibes.

Love this and love the game also. I'd love more Retro content from EZA; thanks all involved L&R.
