I think the production value makes the overall package so much stronger. I know the EZA studio doesn't exist yet, but some serious set dressing or even renting a studio space for the E3 conferences would be nice.

Have a show pre E3 building up to it, produced or on the fly, where you talk about previous years: what E3 means to each one of you, first year you went and how was it, best announcement, worst moment etc. Maybe an episode per ally of something would be cool. Also, bring some guests in for the hype!

Read the previous EZA E3 coverage comments. There has got to be valuable input there. Stop walking in front of the camera. There was a lot of unused space from above the Allies' heads on the recent E3 coverage. Put b-roll there, eliminate the space, have a wider angle to decrease that space, have a continuous camera there (like the Ally handling the computer), or put an EZA banner with that brief's logo. Have a schedule for which Allies will be at each briefing. Each brief should be manned by the Allies with the best knowledge of the company giving the brief. This will hopefully prevent a brief from having few Allies and another having all the Allies. That looks terrible for EZA.

Hi Allies, I know I have gave suggestions in previous comments but with this comment I plan to make it detailed and give suggestions to improve this years E3 coverage after re-watching last years recently. Most of these will be about scheduling. -There have been talk about starting the day 1 E3 streams a couple hours early, I would recommend starting with the podcasts and have 4-5 people come in if not everyone can join. -The Judge Jones videos are pointless. Jones played games before E3 which other allies played during E3 and it would have been better if the spoken game would be brought up once. I know Jones had other plans and this year will be different so my suggestion is talk about games once. Don't do Judge Jones videos. - I know the Judge Jones was done for intermission breaks for you guys so I recommend putting up twitch clips that people cut out/ a box peek episode/ some favourite clips from previous E3s/A youtube game music playlist or just download the videos and play on VLC/Always have a crunch and tell the audience what game you will end on that day if possible. - Try and get guests, it's only you and GiantBomb streaming, it wouldn't hurt other people joining in with their impressions. - I don't think treehouse/PS panels/MS panels etc. does needs to be live reacted to, most of the information provided on those streams are told when you guys go to the booth. I think having these videos hosted on the channel is the way to go. I know we seem to just want but I just want you guys to do something I didn't know I want so hope your ideas are better then mine :)

The one major thing I would suggest is to have build up videos to E3 to really hype it. Before the show is what's really important as during E3, it's reactions to the conferences (which is all we want but it's a static show where you can't do anything else but react). I would, for one, suggest having each Ally give a list of 10 dreams,  Huber Syndrome style, but a seperate episode per Ally, uploaded on consecutive days leading to E3.

Personally, I love everything you do at and during E3, it honestly means a lot to me. So most of all I'd like everything to stay as it is. Given the chance to offer some input however, I felt like I should at least think if there isn't anything I'd like. So thinking about it, one of the things I like most are the show-walking video's like Huber and Ian make. This may be a strange request and more difficult than I'd imagine but what I'd like is a video that somehow shows me an overview of the entire thing. I mean, like what's where relative to what, etc.. And not just inside the actual building but also the other venues across the streat or nearby, or whatever. Basically, something that gives me (even) more of a feeling of being there. If it's really hard or time consuming, forget it, it's just a wish. That's all I could think of so far but I might post more if think of other things. I just love E3 time so much.

some interviews from the show floor, or highlights of lesser talked about games would be great if any of the allies are interested in them of course. back in the studio? the production value really is key. let's get those mics and cameras balanced, get that lightning looking sharp, and everyone rocking those suits and you're in the clear!

i would like to see TRAILER JONES on E3 ONLY as in every year. i know it didnt reached 45K, HOWEVER would it be possible to make it a EXCEPTION since E3 is a very special day for all news outlets who does all the discussion and some entertainment to keep the audience engage? the best moment is when bosman rated the NEW GOW a 6.8 and huber went TRIGGERED as i laugh soo hard on it just as EZA and Alllies do. i hope you can reconsider it for this opportunity to DRAW NEW CROWDS to support on PATREON. thanks for reading. :)

Honestly, there's very little I'd change from previous years. I loved the late-night conversations, particularly the live episodes of the Podcast and Frame Trap that just got loopier and loopier. One possible suggestion would be to try and get some great cross-promotional guests on, which might help bring in some views, but honestly as far as my personal viewing pleasure is concerned I wouldn't change a thing.

More Don takes. Also I would love to have Jones present for the press conference reactions, while the reactions were great last year, they were certainly missing something without Brandon. Not only does he have great opinions on announcements, he is the face and voice of EZA. I think it adds a lot when he is there.

If you need something to fill slots or pre-show time, I really enjoyed when you watched the Konami 2010 press conference, and something related to old conferences could be great. Maybe checking out some old E3 trailers, remembering what kind of hype or idea you got back in the day, and comparing it to what the game ended up being? Digital Foundry did a commentary on the Sony 2005 E3 when the PS3 was shown and it was hilarious and fascinating.

Please do an Video about the bettings special, in the style of ,,what happened before". So everyone who is new to the channel and the bettings special can understand, why there are so many crazy characters and why UltimaBrad and RainyDayIan are competing against another. I think this would be a nice and funny produced video and would hype up the bettings special. Besides that I am looking forward the most to the reaction streams!

Two suggestions on my part 1) Add an ongoing "Best Moment of E3" which gets voted on in the last E3 stream. Make it a plaque that hangs in the background with a single moment for each E3. Be fun to revisit it and see what the shining moment of E3s past. 2) Add a streaming ticker at the bottom with latest E3 news. I think it would be cool as the latest E3 news comes around, that you add it to the ticker.

My only main thing I would like to see improve is the PC coverage. I understand that the PC Gaming Show is a bit awkward to cover due to the format with a lot of talking which is less hype. But much like the show is different perhaps you need to approach the coverage of it differently. Listen a little more during the interviews (if they are actually saying something interesting) and don't just default to talking over them. I would like your reactions on what is said as well as what's seen. Maybe even cover the PC Gaming Show separately after the fact so you can pause it and talk without talking over the interviews. If nothing else it would be nice if people who cares about PC games does the coverage (Huber, Ian, Ben?). I actually got some bad vibes last year because I felt Kyle was oddly dismissive and condescending of the whole thing. It's just a little disheartening to constantly feel that PC Gaming is an afterthought for the allies, even if it actually is just that.

I actually disagree with this. I want to be able to see the Allies for sure, but I like to experience the conferences for the first time with the Allies so the bigger you can manage to get the conference feed while keeping the allies clearly visible the better imo.

So I just saw the stream test (playing around with the different configs for conference/cameras) that took place in the dead of night over here. I did not like the results, Really against wasting so much space on the conference feed when it's readily available at other places in full quality/full screen. We don't have alternate feeds to see the allies, and yeah cropping the main camera feed the way it was also results in things getting cut off when the allies are ever standing up (which does happen throughout long streams) Not a good result imo if the final one at the end is what is being considered.

Like the years past, id like to see a Easy Update and Huber Syndrome walking around on the show floor. Maybe a special Friend Code on the show floor(if the Patreon is back at 40g). I think i hear one of you say, you want special graphics and intros for the videos on E3 coverage.

Make sure you have enough headphones for everyone that isn't at the main table. Huber and Brad shouldn't have to watch a trailer like Super Mario Odyssey without the fantastic music ever again. I personally prefer your cam window to be bigger or equal to the E3 cam window. You can always find a full screen version of the E3 conferences elsewhere, but you can't find a full screen version of your reactions. -BlackychanAdventures

All your E3 coverage is great. It's fun, light-hearted, yet tries to tackle as much as humanly possible and I appreciate that! My one suggestion would be to possibly have a friend/someone with a lot of you guys on the floor to capture/record more "on the show floor" moments. It could maybe just be candid events going on, or it could be a developer/influencer that warrants an impromptu interview. Nothing too fancy in the way of equipment either; I'm sure all your cellphones are up to the task. Maybe Omar, Amanda Troop, Kristen, Blood-wife, etc. would be okay with taking a day and following along with a camera / camera-phone. -Alex

Make an introductory video to play at the start of each day of coverage featuring the allies in their suits, similar to the betting persona introductions. Something that screams "we're the best in the biz when it comes to E3 coverage." Set the tone.

Prerecord some allies talking about favorite e3 memories or something so you have something to cut away to and give yourselves a break when necessary. Have a 10 minute video of just text asking video game quiz questions / trivia with background music and a countdown clock to whatever so you get a break. Could you get a Skype call on a mobile with Keighley or an industry dev? Take same time off before the big event and stay away from leaks so you go in fresh like the rest of us. An e3 quiet period, then big boom. Patrons will understand and prefer your energy high for the main events. Side / alternate view cameras. Is Elyse available for a visit at all? I LOVED the slowmo / halfspeed YouTube playbacks of trailers during post discussion. Juice up the bets. Don’t do it too close to e3 so you have enough energy to recover before the big event. Hire friends / family to help out (as runners or background crew) to make yourselves more comfortable. Is there a way to make stuff more interactive with the audience some how? Hashtag or chat voting for questions or choices? Even if it’s in a jokey way - try to emulate top tier media. Stuff like “the preschool countdown begins... Right Now”. Prerecorded skits to cutaway to. Roll some highlights from somegamenews and remind people to donate. Costumes are cool, suits are cool, T-shirts are cool. Shades are cool. New stuff is cool. Could we ask patrons to submit 30 second videos to YouTube with EASY ALLIES E3 memories in the title and send links in for our favorite e3 memory or something and you guys stitch them together and include in the show? The YouTube video description must include some text that allows easy allies to show the video? Just a random idea. Hope you guys have fun whatever you do. E3

I think your coverage last year was stellar, but I'd love to check out even more of your reactions and discussions. With that in mind (and I understand if this is more work than you think it's worth), would you consider uploading the audio of your reactions to the podcast services? And I don't just mean the larger/longer conference reactions but also, say, if you have a 17 minute conversation about Red Dead, that could be its own upload. I'm sadly not able to be at my computer enough to watch all of the reaction videos but if some, especially bite sized, audio versions were available, I'd be able to check out many more of your thoughts.

I think the Allies should veer away from leaks that occur in the hours leading up to the conference. If it's leaked days or weeks or months earlier than e3 (I'm looking at you, Mario+Rabbids), then that is valid to state. But if the host states a leak that occurred mere hours/minutes before the conference, that is spoiling the conference and could ruin/alter a hyped reaction from the Allies. Also, we need Jones back on the streams so that he can rant about how awful EA is (especially after what happened with Visceral Games' Star Wars game and Battlefront II). I hope the memes continue to flow (and that Ch** comes back) and the jolly vibes are prevalent!

I loved last year's coverage, including the late night impression streams which were free-flowing and had just good vibes. My one suggestion would be regarding leaks - it seems like Kyle pays the most attention to leaks and rumors, with maybe Damiani and Brandon second and third in this regard. If possible, you could create a brief pre-E3 leaks podcast to discuss with just a smaller panel of Allies who have okay'd their appearance and do not mind discussing rumors. I know there is a sizable portion of your audience tuning in solely for the reactions and this would allow you to both cover the inevitable leaks leading up to E3 and keep most reactions pure. Just something to consider, thanks in advance for what will be another amazing year!

To be honest, not having Jones on the conference viewings was my least favorite part last year. I know him out there wheeling and dealing for the Allies is probably better for the company as a whole, but his presence was missed! Really as many allies as possible in each conference is ideal. Love the betting specials, but I liked it more when it was just the actual allies and not the strange characters, also miss the Huber v Bosman rivalry. Other than that I really enjoyed everything else and following E3 along with you guys. Cheers!

I think you guys did a great job last year and I wasn't really itching for any big improvement, but I can think of a few things. First, no leaks. I try to stay away from things like that before the conferences, and it can kill the hype if you have an idea of what's to come. Second, if possible I would want everyone there for every conference. When the right person sees the right announcement, that's where the "Huber Shenmue" gold comes from. Lastly, go above and beyond with the betting special. I don't know how, but I love that thing and always want to see more of it. Especially Huber vs Bosman, we need to get back the old rivalry there. Not really feeling the ultima Brad stuff to be honest. Thanks for hearing us out Damiani, and cheers to E3 2018!

HUBER vs BOSMAN! They are the kings of E3. What I liked about your coverage so far is the fact that I can visit the EZA page to see what is currently happening, about to happen or when a conference I want to see is going to happen. I would also like some indie coverage, all the big outlets cover the AAA games but where you guys shine is in giving the small guys a voice. Give Ian and Don a camera and score some carpets! Make an actual carpet award and do an carpet award show.

Previous E3s have been great but there is always room for improvements no matter how small it is. It will all add up in the end

We ended to have a pretty good layout for the E3 stream with Damiani taking feedbacks from chat today although good to check with Ian and others if it's good for you all. So many good reactions were missed because side camera wasn't on so hope it is on more. I miss Jones' rants but he is the face (and voice) of EZA businesswise so him being absent is understandable. Also don't make things too hard for mods to mod chat. Like off events it's ok to have no restrictions but during press conferences you pretty much need those things that slows and limits chat to make sure no one is spamming or acting impropriate. If you guys see something that caught your attention on the showfloor, try it and if you don't have time, take a note about it since there probably will be ones you might miss totally. After each day is over, check with each others to see what games needs or want to be covered so it won't be forgotten.

Brandon on Reaction Streams. While I'm sure being able to attend the press conferences in person is a great experience, it does nothing to enhance your content and in my opinion your content was worse last year because Brandon wasn't their to give his usual unique perspective and biting reactions. If you insist on having an Ally attend in person, I'd perhaps like to see some Vlog-style content, or at least some unique content come from it. I have no idea what it's like to attend one of these big conferences and probably never will, so even if it's just Brandon talking to himself a little before and after the show, it will be interesting. And if Bethesda does one of their crazy Theme Park things again then it'll be even more interesting. This is also just one step up from Brandon live tweeting from his seat as he normally does at these things. Additionally, I don't really mind for Group Streams, it's close enough, but can we please try and get the video feeds completely in sync for the Reactions? I've noticed it for couple of months now but the Group Streams recently are always a good second out of sync. Otherwise, I'm happy with what you guys can give me.

Special guests. A lot of people are in San Fran like IGN, KindaFunny, What's Good Games, etc. and with EZA in LA there isn't much crossover. With E3 in LA, they are all down in the area that week. I would love to see some special guests from these and other outlets. It would make for interesting conversation and introduce us to them as well as EZA to a wider audience. Of course, it's all up to who Jones wants in his garage so I understand if there is some hesitation. I would love to see EZA doing more crossover with other outlets and E3 seems like the perfect time.

Since you may not be able to stream on the show floor, maybe a compromise where you could record a walkthrough or record your instant thoughts on the floor and play during the nights stream or upload to the channel when you're able. Could give y'all a few minute break during the long night streams or just a fun extra video during the day. I'd be fine with it being a candid non-edited one. I just love seeing the show floor WHILE E3 is happening. I love the Huber Syndrome/Easy Update E3 specials, but it always makes me sad as those episodes mean E3 is over and I'm seeing the floor afterwards. Other than that I loved last years E3 exactly as it was. Y'all are the best in the biz!

Also, if Damiani needs to catch a few winks, he must smoothly lean out of frame, but Kyle can't call him out. Let the man get some sleep.

I hope you'll have some neat graphics (overlays, templates, what's the name?) for your streams this time. They don't need to be big or distracting, but something on the sides that show that production was thought about beforehand. A few nice details, EZA in clear font etc. I'm not sure about the big, red background behind you whether that's become boring or not. I get the idea, but maybe something new would be needed this time. Whatever your reactions end up being (don't force them!), make a separate video out of them. Those always get big numbers in views. Huber and Ian's show floor videos are the best, please continue. But hey! Maybe it's time for Kyle as well? Final Bosman style, that was really good. His style would be so much different than the other two. A little more scripted, perhaps? Please consider. :) I wonder if you break your hours-long talks into pieces for YouTube then. People see a 4h video, for instance, they're not gonna just happily jump into that (I am!). More manageable video lengths could favour you.

As a person who’s gonna be watching most of it on archive, I’d like it if you could make it easier for me to skim through and find similar videos. Basically if you can come up with thumbnails that are easy to identify a video or a series of videos, that’d be great. For example, if I miss a tabletop video, it’s super easy for me to go through all your videos and find them cause they have a uniform look to them.

Yeah specific leaks should not be brought up. Most of E3 last year was leaked and it definitely killed the hype

Theres a lot of comments already, but I'm going to echo what some other people have said. E3 bets need to be a Huber and Bosman thing again, it was much more intense and jollier at the same time. Most of the other allies don't have the same betting acumen as Huber and Bosman. On another note the last 2 years tensions were running hot and the stream became quite uncomfortable to watch when the allies were fighting for time to talk about the games they had played that day, so designing a structure were each member has their own time slot or consistently rotating 1 by 1 per game to keep the conversation fresh. And my absolute number one request/preference, ALL the allies should be there everyday for the conference reactions. Jones missing most of last year was deeply upsetting and disappointing, especially when he usually has the sharpest opinions on reveals and press conferences in general. I MISS YOU JONES

I personally enjoy them having the audio because watching them live the two streams never sync up. One of the two will be too early and it ruins the fun of the surprises, in my opinion.

I love him, but I just want the reign of Ultima Brad to come to an end. Ian better crush it this year.

For the E3 betting special I just want it to go back to Huber and Bosman going head to head with the other allies being drafted onto teams. While the new betting format isn't bad I just much preferred when Kyle and Huber would tear into each other and really bring the hype.

I know Kyle doesn't do a show anymore, but I used to enjoy his unique perspective on E3 and would love a Final Bosman style show again from the floor. In particular I'd love to see Kyle sing to Shuhei again.

I loved when You muted conference audio, I always watch conferences on the TV and You at the same time on my PC just for your commentary, but syncing them both so there will be no echo etc. is pain in the ass, when You had only your audio echo was not a problem, it also added benefit of controlling audio levels of conference and commentary apart from each other, and anyone who wants to just watch your stream shouldn't have a problem with playing conference stream with different tab

Your E3's are the best and I would change nothing except to continue to up the production values and also to not discuss recent leaks during pre-shows. Guests might be cool, but maybe just during the nightly recaps, not the reactions. That desk is already crowded enough.

Before and after the conferences pull questions from the community, but don't use chat as a sole source. Utilize the EZA twitter account or Patreon. As its much less chaotic and easier to maintain and curate. Also works great for promotion and bringing awareness to EZA as others have expressed and something I agree could improve.

My only two hopes are as follows: The first is for as many allies as possible (hopefully all 9) to be there for the live reactions. The more important one is for you guys to be wearing suits for the live reactions. That slightly more sophisticated air around those suits made the experience feel a little more special.

Another idea I just had: some sort of betting integration within the community? Obviously the Betting Special will be its own thing, but I think it'd be cool if there was a separate way for all of us to take part in making/placing our own bets!

My only wish is for leaks to be avoided that week. I'm fine with them leading up until E3 but it kills the surprises to have you all discuss them right before a show. I would prefer it if it was discussed as part of the after show, as in here's what we didn't get.

Love the EZA coverage of E3. Have watched your reaction streams multiple times over. The only thing I can think of as an improvement is to adapt to Sony's new format for their press conferences. They've now started putting actual important announcements into the pre-show. The pre-show used to be used for your guys to talk about what you think might be in the show but now that's kind've hard to hear since you're being interrupted by things like Hidden Agenda and Ni no Kuni 2. I'd suggest starting a bit earlier than the pre show so that we get to hear more of the hype-building EZA speculation and predictions. L&R, Ed

I've already enjoyed the past two years but here are some suggestions. #1 Community Engagement - Maybe some live polls like Best in _______ and other instant feedback. Maybe some giveaways of EZA swag or have a "EZA fan stream" where supporters can share what they thought was cool. I would not do this during any press conferences or anything but would be neat to see a more interactive element. #2 Micro bets - Maybe little bets throughout the show to add or supplement the betting special? #3 Carpet Coverage - Keep it up Ian Not as much as a suggestion of the question but something to consider #4 Explore a proper balance between press conference volume and panel feedback. It's really frustrating to hear every word of the panel and missing out on details of announcements. #5 Keep upping the production value and promote yourselves - EZA gets the spotlight at E3 and it can really make the group shine and pull more supporters. If I remember right from last year being out of the garage was a good simple step to look more "perfesh". The Zelda sleuth video was a great premiere at the first E3

I'm happy with what you guys have been doing mostly, I see improvements year to year thus far. If I have one criticism it would probably be better management of the pre and post conference discussions. The randomness and community integration is a part of what makes you guys unique but during the discussions sometimes a hottake from chat can completely derail a otherwise interesting or in depth discussion. I've seen this managed better by you and other outlets having just the off camera guy ( damiani) be the one reading and responding to chat, alerting the panel when standout comments, questions, or relevant remarks are brought up or if called upon to fill empty air. this helps to keep everyone on the panel at the table on topic and focused. Just my two cents looking forward E3 with the allies and all the zany antics and shenanigans it brings. Noodles and Broth!!!

1) E3 games coverage by genre - "EZA Top RPGs/Platformer/etc to look out for.." 2) Ask E3 audience including stand staff to tell a gaming related joke. 3) Introduce the "E4 Hypemeter (E3+EZA)" which games score the highest in hype before/during/after the conference.

First, I just want to say thanks for choosing to do this! Whether you take many or none, I really am heartened to see you guys gauge everyone's thoughts. Second, as for personal suggestions, (And it may have already been pitched, but 150+ comments....) I recently rewatched last year's E3 Trailer Hypefest stream and really enjoyed it. Hopefully you all will bring this idea back as it was a jolly time. But outside of that, as for specific content or structure, the main podcast covers predictions, news stories, and the like leading up to the show and the reactions, both pre, during, and post show, and the post mortem week are really well done. Third, I do have a suggestion regarding feedback from community members. Granted this may be WAAAYYYY too much work but: What if, say for about two weeks to a month, EZA establishes a google doc, or other online area in which people can leave their predictions, hopes and dreams, most anticipated conferences/games, etc. In addition, gauging what others thought was the highlight of the conferences and announcements stood out, both positively and negatively, might be a fun discussion starter (Or continuation). Finally, I hope EZA will be willing to do other one-off things surrounding E3. Another, one-time (a year) only hour long Trailer Jones, a Hall of Greats that's E3 focused for trailers, conferences, or even years, or an E3 deliberations style stream much this past year's GOTY deliberations, handing out Game of Show, Best Press Conference, Biggest Surprise, etc. I'm sure none of this will be taken, considered, or even read, but if anyone has gotten this far, thanks for doing so. I can't wait for E3 and what Easy Allies has planned!!!

This will be my first year of watching E3 with the Allies as it happens. I don't know what your processes and coverage has looked like in the past, per se. But I would love it if you could find the time to dedicate to some small indies that you think could have potential. I know we're all going to be excited about the From Software Bloodborne 2 full game shadowdrop, but there are some developers and studios that wont be so lucky. I would be happy if I could walk away from an EZA E3 knowing about some small game I would not have known existed the week before. Even if you could make time for a half-hour discussion on some first impressions. But no matter what the allies cover, I'm going to be there for all of it LIVE this time! Love and respect.

my favourite part of E3 coverage is at the actual event - the Huber Syndromes where Huber and Don are walking around just talking to random people, checking out booths etc. I'd love more of that. Personally, I prefer a format in which the E3 conferences are separate events from the round-table discussions about those conferences. I've noticed some websites do a pre-show, during which expectations, theories, and news updates are discussed, then have an uninterrupted stream of the conference in question, and then do a follow-up show afterward, in which the press members discuss everything that happened. I seem to prefer this format. Particularly, because seeing the conferences themselves is the primary draw for me, and watching commentary about the conferences is only a secondary draw. If the commentary is happening over top of the conferences, and actually obscures my ability to see and hear everything happening, I tend to find it frustrating. But that's just my two cents. I'm 40, so maybe that has something to do with it. :)

There are many good suggestions here, and I echo that mentioning patreon a bit more would be good. I think it's also essential to talk about the next few goals on patreon, to let people now what the money goes to. I have a feeling people just see that I get in "tons" of money, and don't support you since "so many others already do". But if they knew about the goals that you want to reach, maybe more would join. :) I'm wondering if it would be possible to have to streams from you guys during the press conferences? One where you do what you've always done, and one where we can only hear your voices, and not the audio from the press conference stream itself. I usually want to hear your reactions but have the conference itself full-screen. I'm guessing this is something not many wants, and probably wound't be possible from your end? I think it would be cool to rank the booths themselves. The games in each booth are important, but I think that the presentation adds to the experience as well. When I went last year, I didn't think I'd spend much time in the Microsoft booth, but it was a really fun area that I found myself going back to a few times. When I go this year, I'm definitely going to take more time exploring all the booths, and I'd love to hear the allies thoughts on each company's setup. Especially since they'll probably have a better idea of what they look like than any us since they can go during the press-only hours.

However, I don't enjoy them talking about rumors that leak the day before the conferences. The closer to the event it is, the more likely we'll get some truth in those rumors, which really ruins the surprise. If we waited until the day before, then we can wait that last day and just see the game announcement as intended.

I guess as far as suggestions go, something that comes to mind from past years are issues with audio sync or stuttering from the source stream, so maybe it would be a good idea to have both YouTube and Twitch streams ready to go (in those instances where the conference is streamed on both) to make switching to a backup stream quicker and more seamless.

Honestly, the thing I've always wanted more of from EZA in general has been interviews. Understandably last year E3 was an absolute mess as you had to compete with the public, and I don't know if you're big enough to book people at the moment, but interviews are always incredibly refreshing. Also, they're the type of content people outside of the EZA community would be actively searching for so it's a great opportunity to draw new eyes and possible convert people to subscribers and patrons.

Hey Allies. My favorite part of the streams is without a doubt the live podcasts and the stuff that happens when the stream goes late and you're all at your wits' end. My hopes for E3 2018 are primarily technical - I hope more of the Allies get to be there for the Press Conference reactions, and at the same time I also hope their reactions can be captured on stream. Salad Mic (or the Blue Yeti) needs to be hot, have a Salad Cam going in the corner with an angle on the other guys, and have headphones for anybody watching on the side! I think that last year Brad and others didn't even get to hear Jump Up Superstar for the Mario Odyssey trailer because they didn't have sound! It's also going to be an excellent opportunity to bring on some guests/collaborations while people are in town! (If you guys are interested, that is) If you could, I would appreciate not mentioning any leaks until after they are confirmed/denied in the pressers. It's way better when myself and other Allies are in the dark when this stuff happens! This applies to the podcast in weeks leading up to E3 IMO. I know that discussing news/rumors is kinda important, but at the same time I just don't wanna hear about that stuff

Possibly have a Live Twitter Feed on a spare monitor in the garage (alongside chat) so the Allies can keep up with the latest news. There was so many times during the last press conferences where you've missed MEGATON announcements from leftfield i.e - Phantasy Star Online for Switch in Japan with Link and the Allies knew nothing. So much news gets blurted out on Twitter before anyone has time to react with proper press statements / video announcements.

In regards to the conferences, Main camera = big screen. Conference = small screen at the bottom. And a camera pointed at the allies off to the side (which is mic'd) taking up the remainder of the space beside the conference at the bottom. Also I'm sure you tried, but it was really strange finding out that the allies off to the side were watching the conference without audio due to no headsets. Try and alleviate that if possible. A special guest or two would be pretty cool. For example, he's already expressed interest himself and it may have already happened by E3, but if not, try and see if Cory Barlog can join in for a special E3 podcast. Something like that.

The last two years I've noticed a lot of you guys seem super tired when you come back from a full day on the E3 floor. I know that it is part of what makes those streams great, but to be honest I would be equally happy with waiting for an ally's thoughts on the games they played or checked out even a day or two after when they might be feeling a bit fresher, or if they might not feel up to it. You guys are only human.

Side cam on at all times. Especially during end of day impressions. Really brings the cozy vibes. If it's just 4 of you on the table it starts to feel too closed off and rigid, you know? Keep the discussions open and free flowing with everyone able to chime in if they want. The nightly impressions should feel like a group of friends talking about cool games they got to play, not journalists reporting on something because they have to.

Only problem with this is that E3 has become more and more crowded to the point it is really hard to just wait and play anything at the show anymore (last year Natsume's booth had wait times of 45-60 mins for their games alone, when in every previous year I had been you could just walk up and start playing one of their games). We did try to roam the floor Tues/Wed to play random stuff, but it didn't work out well. The media only hours might help, but if this is going to happen, it's going to be through an appointment. We will know what we're playing ahead of time, but it might be something they previously never heard of, so that could possibly work?

If you do any large rundowns like "Here's what we saw on Day 2" or "Favorite games we saw", structure the discussions of each game consistently. Whether that means a hard 15 minute cap on each game, or that you have to conclude each discussion with a haiku to summarize your thoughts, some structure will help differentiate each person's games/experiences/stories. I'm sure Bosman has some entertaining rules that if followed could help flesh out each Allies' hot takes and keep the pacing strong.

I personally thought last year's coverage was your guys best work. Loved every minute. The only thing I would change would be talking about leaks. I understand and am totally cool with all year discussing them up until E3, because you all are journalist and it's part of the job. It's necessary to talk about them and usually bring about good conversation and speculation for everyone including us. But the hours leading up to the presentations themselves should be off limits. At that point it's not news, just spoilers. We are all watching and waiting for those suprises and bombshells to be dropped on us, and that's one of the best parts of E3. The anticipation, emotion, and reactions is why we watch and it's what you guys provide better than anyone else. I often wonder what kind of reaction Ben would have had to Monster Hunter World... could have been magical lol. But if it's necessary I understand and will be a long for the ride this year as always. I listen to 13 podcasts a week- and my FAVORITE gaming content of the year are the E3 Nights streams where the allies talk each E3 night for hours and just talk about impressions. I love that more than the press conference reactions IMO. I look forward to E3 nights more than Christmas honestly. Please just keep that. How about a BINGO board for every press conference, filled in with suggestions from the Allies. The people on coverage only get to see their board fifteen minutes before the conference starts, but the boards are posted here ahead of time so we can all play along together.

I would like to promote a special episode of Hall of Greats for E3. And then make it regular for each next E3. Each Allie should brought one game from this E3, hopefully the new one, but already announced games with a bunch of new information added to them are also allowed to increase the list of possibilities. The main rule is... that if two different allies bring the same game - it will be delisted from the final list of nominees. This will make each of you to carefully select maybe not the best game of the show, but to find hidden jems from this pile of good and not so good gamea showed. Of course, this two games selected at the end will not be moved to Hall of Greats near others already selected, but will start the generation of new list. We may call it Hall of possible Greats or something like that. I believe Kyle will love this idea a lot. To create a list of games which were almost perfect in our imagination before they released. And Allies can continue this together with Bets for the all upcoming gaming shows and events. I am sure that this format will be very relevant, it will be so perfect to see all nine of you battling for the best not released games and then your return to it after game is already out to see who was right and who was wrong. This might seem aggressive but, a change in color in the background. Don't get me wrong, I love the easy allies color. But since it is a special event (gaming Christmas) some color change in the background or banners would be awesome. The new "This stream will start soon" to me is great because it incorporates some oranges. But maybe some blue or pink might go well (just some crazy ideas).

A nice piece of content shown prior to each conference would be "Odds On With Don", in which Don takes a set of 6-8 possible announcements/occurrences for that conference and gives them numberical odds on how likely that is to show up. Halo at Xbox's conference? That's some easy money. Master Chief in Smash Brothers? I wouldn't bet the farm on it. This would combine some of the EZA staples into a bitesize chunk prestream: Don, Bets, and E3 Predictions.

With e3 there is always a ton of long form content being made. Maybe to switch it up and give new people a jumping point in point for e3 after its over is make a produced, Jones Voice over, short video (3-10 minutes) on the groups overall thoughts on e3. You could use that video to point out games you all loved, games that disappointed, great/bad press conferences etc. And use this video to point to your long form game discussions to attract more people.

Shiny studio lights to give it all a more professional feel. Don't get me wrong, you guys are some of the most professional people out there, but the current garage setup just doesn't look that way (and yes, even the setup you had during the last E3s didn't look that great IMO). Again, don't get me wrong, because it has improved a lot since day 1, but it's still looking like a garage. I just don't see you guys reaching the 50k anytime soon (unfortunately) and I know there are a lot of bills to pay, but I wonder if we will get something like a more studio looking environment even if you guys don't reach that number.

I think you guys do great each year. I would like to see something specific though. I think that you guys could have more information prepared about games and companies that you expect to see at the show. I think about how ESPN announcers have the stats and facts down cold and they are ready with that info when the moment comes. I also think about how EZA could do it better. A good deal of the E3 coverage from EZA seems reactionary, which is not a complaint. I understand reactions dominate because surprises are a huge part of E3. Sometimes it feels like it is Christmas and everyone is opening presents together with the excitement that is taking place. I do like it but, it would be good to hear a more organized and professional analysis mixed into the reactions too. I included a short list of questions to prepare for that might enhance some of the E3 announcements. Some info that seems redundant may prove helpful for the EZA audience because if someone is just dropping in and needs context to what is happening you guys could be the ones to deliver it. New Game X is announced- Who is the developer? Who is the Game designer? What else notable have the developer/designer done? Is there other noteworthy talent attached to the project? Has either had a flop in the past? String of flops? What has you worried about what was shown? Online functionality? What has you hyped for the announcement. Why should someone who has no clue about the announcement care? Sequel Game X gets announced- Series performance up til now? What looks to be changing/staying the same for the franchise? Can someone jump into this series or do they need to play the first one(s)? Adaptation Game X is announced- Do I have to have seen the anime or does it look like I will get the story from the game? If I have never watched wrestling before will this wrestling game be an okay place to start? New device X gets announced- Price if possible, specification for use at home if possible, What kind of TV do I need? What peripherals are needed? Possible launch titles?

Not so much a suggestion, just a reminder to have the name of the game being discussed shown on screen. You guys were pretty good about it last year but there were times when it was missing so if someone had to step away momentarily or are skimming through video on YouTube later it's possible to not know what's being discussed.

More guests would be cool. I don't remember which year it was, but when John Metts from Nintendo World Reporter came over during E3 to talk Nintendo that was a fantastic stream. Ben Hanson from Gameinformer was really good on the podcast recently too. More guests, if you can get them, would be great.

Just for fun and extra to talk about. All the Allies that are hitting the show floor should do one 'blind' game. Something that they have never heard of. I know a few of the allies do this but if every ally check out one completely under the radar game that would make fot great conversation.

This, absolutely. Damiani and Ian do a great job, but I think for large events you should think about hiring help. It would take a load off everyone’s mind if they didn’t have to worry about technical issues.

Two ideas come to mind: 1. If you guys decide to stream all day, you could plan out more things to do in between conferences. Like how you watched highlights from the infamous Konami 2010 conference after EA’s two years ago. 2. I love settling in and hearing your guys’ impressions on what you played/saw on the show floor. But it would be cool if you could cut those down to the essentials afterwards- like what you’ve started doing with the Checkin’ Out videos for solo streams- that way it’s more digestible for people who want to watch them later. No matter what, you guys make E3 so much fun. Can’t wait :)

I really just want conference reactions and betting specials. maybe live podcasts during E3 nights.

I'd like to see any Demo's that are shadow dropped covered by EZA, the buzz of going through a fresh shadow dropped gem with a group and an audience will be gold (either after reactions or sooner than you have been doing in the past). Could be a great video (numbers wise) like your excellent Live Reactions Streams.

I've wanted to volunteer for this but my schedule hasn't panned out for the past couple years (and this one now that I'm working in gaming again). But I think you guys need a stream producer so people aren't relegated behind the computer. I know you all rotate, but when you're filming reactions at the end of every night and trying to do segments, it can get a little messy when people are shuffling around. I'm sure there are people like me in the community who would gladly volunteer for it, or at least get paid in food for the week. We want to see you guys crush it again! EDIT: Also, I think making a couple scenes in advance in XSplit/OBS for when you're going to show content pulled from YouTube that hide the actual YT page would be very helpful to clean up the production quality.

Have you thought about presenting the reaction cam as it is in SomeGameNews' highlight videos? The show takes up more space, but the panel still has a significant amount of screen-space in the form of a banner.
