It might seem like a silly thing, but it's surreal for me to be battling against the head of Sony's games division for online social media supremacy. I'm only in this position because of the support here on Patreon. Without you all, I'd be playing games by my lonesome. Thank you for your continued support, as always. Mr. JONES! I am gonna need your takes on Final Fantasy X. It is my favorite game of all time. It was baby's first JRPG for me that's not Pokemon. Pull no punches here I just gotta know!

2018-04-05 15:39:53 +0000 UTCI know you said that you guys get a lot of the love already but I just felt impressed to say something... I was listening to your answer to the question posed about the exploration of violence/taboo in video games and realized a large part of what I love about the allies. I am a late 20-something year old and it's hard in the life that I lead to find people that I can "look up to" (for lack of a better term). When I hear well thought out answers like the one you gave, answers that show wisdom and kindness, think about the crazy success of GT and how you literally lived the American dream (which often feels like its dying) - watching how you lost everything and came back from that with EZA, learned to find ways to deal with your own anxiety and try to guide the other Allies (without being heavy-handed) towards a positive goal, listening to how you have so many things you want to be involved in (writing scripts, making games, singing) and making time (although i realize not as much as you'd like) to ACTUALLY PURSUE THEM. I realize that I greatly admire the person that you try to be Jones- I don't pretend to know who you actually are... but I think it is worth praising the person you try to be, because a lot of people don't even try. Furthermore, I just have to shout out the whole of EZA (the 9 allies), I have said this before but I am currently struggling through medical school right now and it is the loneliest time of my entire life- While I study.. whenever its possible I have The Podcast(my second fav EZA show), or Frametrap, or Tabletop, or Fiasconauts(my personal fav EZA show) in the background and it helps to stave off the loneliness just enough to keep going. I say all that because I am slightly afraid of the drop in money... but I just wanted to make it clear that I will be a Patron literally AS LONG AS I CAN.. My dream is to be a Patron until I'm old and you guys replace yourselves with some weird kids and I don't even watch anymore and I'm just supporting because I forgot to cancel 20 years ago lol. Keep being awesome, keep loving and respecting and you guys will always have my vote. I don't really want this to be read out loud or anything.. I just know sometimes it must be difficult, and hope this lets you guys know what you're doing makes a difference.
