I know I probably sound like a broken record by now, but the more I listen to other D&D podcasts like the Glass Cannon and the Adventure Zone, the more I think Tabletop Escapades might benefit from easing into a pre-written D&D campaign. Knowing that there was a specific storyline to follow might keep the party focused and playing along with the specific narrative, rather than just brute force their way out of every encounter like a pack of murder hobos. It's just a bit exhausting seeing them fall into the same routine over and over again with NPCs (Pompor/Birdcough trying to get them to join the party, Therese being suspicious/resistive to them). When was the last time they went to a city? Solved a mystery? Went somewhere with a specific objective, achieved it, then returned and were rewarded? Right now it just feels like they're caught in this miasma of floating around from vague objective to vague objective. If this was Lord of the Rings they never would've left Rivendell. Therese would've already killed Boromir and Pompor would still be trying to get Elrond to join the party. Sure that's ok, or in keeping with their characters, but it doesn't allow the group to tell the epic adventure that it has the potential to.

His personality, not knowing his god’s name and the quickness in which he initially said by to crota has me believing this is where he’s headed and possibly even a death knight.
