Some unexpected spells cause chaos as our heroes deal with a horde of trolls.

Tabletop Escapades - Season 2 Episode 12 "Unstable Ground"

Comments

I feel like Therese’s tentacles could theoretically hit 9 trolls if it’s centered at one and then the 8 adjacent trolls would all still be half in the area of effect. Just a thought. Still got much love and respect for you guys. Keep doing what you’re doing. None of my friends are interested in starting a D&D campaign so this is my only way to enjoy it at this point in life.

Total Honesty: I love you guys and TTE, but this episode (despite Huber's Earth Quake) was bit on a slow, not super interesting side ( Im trying to be super nice). I know...its rare but it kind of was..meh (sorry!). ... Also, and this is just a thought I feel very passionate about... and I know this might have been mentioned before... but I just want reiterate it: we need to some how (and I mean however possible) immediately or as soon as possible, get Kyle/Vivian up to lvl 15... I know it might seem like a small thing, but the discrepancy between the other characters and his lvl 10 charcater is honestly just awkward and seems to possibly lead to more awkward encounters. Plus if every one is at the same level then the team's synergy can be both more effective & interesting, thus making the show more entertaining to watch. Having said all that, This season has been a lot of fun so far, and I am really looking forward to see where the story goes....despite my issues with Therese.

Tegan Combatti

I think Ian hasn't used invisibility while in combat before. He's used it before combat a bunch. I think mechanically Ben would be right. That going forward while in combat, casting it one person per turn OR using a spell slot would make the most sense. However outside of combat it totally feasible that Ian could just cast it in quick succession on whoever is around.

POKEY CLYDE

Liked for the return of a certain beloved spell. That said, worth noting that in 5th edition said spell takes 1 minute (10 rounds) to cast, while previously in 3.5 and Pathfinder it was a Standard Action to cast, which was brokenly overpowered because it allowed it to be cast as it was in this episode and likely why when 5th edition came around they updated the spell to have a much longer cast time.

MBUN

I flippin loved this episode. Probably the best of season 2 so far!

Prime Primeson

It goes up by 1 at levels 5, 9, 13, and 17 automatically, and also by 1 if Huber were to increase his Wisdom with Ability Score Increases available at levels 4, 8, 9, 12, 16, or 19. Whether or not he's accounted for any of that or not, who knows.

Nicholas Poer

Has Huber's spell save been 14 since episode 1? Can't you level it up?
