Friend Code Returns - Question Submissions
Added 2018-04-30 00:48:06 +0000 UTCBarring the unlikely event we have the single highest drop off in our end of month total, Friend Code will be returning in May. It will go up on May 6th for Patrons, and May 8th for everyone else. Please note that going forward, only $5 and up Patrons will get early access to Friend Code, as opposed $1 and up Patrons. This reflects one of the recently announced changes to our Patreon involving the new $5 Early Access tier, which now includes Friend Code.
This week we will be focusing on the information released in the recent financial report from Nintendo. We will be specifically covering the announcement of Nintendo's new president and a possible shift in focus on money according to a recent Eurogamer interview with Giles Goddard, Kirby Star Allies' sales performance and a look back at how Kirby has historically sold, Breath of the Wild becoming the best selling game in the Zelda series and what that means for the future of the series, and finally the 3DS getting support through 2019 and beyond.
One thing I would like to try to do in Friend Code going forward is working your questions into the actual discussion part of each topic rather than waiting until the end of the episode. I'm actually considering nixing Patron's Pulse as a "segment" on the podcast in favor of this. It would likely mean more of your questions would be selected to use each episode, but questions not on-topic probably wouldn't make it in.
