I 100% agree with Kyle, I absolutely can't stand when people make a fake spoiler "joke" like Ian did. Its not funny in the slightest and can just completely ruin a game for someone when they have this "joke" in the back of their head the whole time wondering if it is true or not. Regardless of if its real it completely ruins my experience when someone does something like that for a movie or game.

Just for clarification, my mother turned 70 this past December. Also, I recommended those games primarily based on two criteria: (a) all the games I recommended were games that I thought had some kind of merit; (b) they all featured something that I knew she would appreciate. By the way, turning the reviews into a game was brilliant. Lastly, she watched this video and is now suitably chuffed. Cheers!

Warhammer Fantasy has been rebooted as Age of Sigmar. The Old World was destroyed. It isn't classic Tolkein style fantasy anymore. It's an odd combination of science fantasy and greek or norse mythology (the gods are real and constantly messing with mortals).

On the off chance the guy with the cool mom is reading this, I think its AWESOME that she would play a VN in the first place, but you should really get your mom to watch the Steins;Gate anime. The show itself has a slow star so I can only imagine what the VN is like, but once the story starts going it never stops. Also if she doesn't want to read subs (which doesn't seem like it would be a problem) the show is famous for its great dub.

The Uncharted fake spoiler is still a spoiler, and now I know a major intriguing thing about the game and can expect it to turn out a certain way. If possible please refrain from these "cute" little joke spoilers. For people who haven't yet played the game they're not funny. They're sudden and disappointing in a podcast where spoilers are not expected. That said maybe it's me, as I know I am pretty spoiler sensitive. Kyle seemed to be on the same page?

Slight Correction: Existing Street Fighter V owners get a free upgrade for the game balances, arcade mode, etc. What you don't get for free is any Season 1 & 2 characters they didn't previously own

I'd like to see the Brandon Jones voice clip "I'm enjoying these micro-transactions" done away with. I know that request is coming out of left field, but I just don't care for it. The EZA sign off, the fade up of that awesome EZA theme song....it just closes and punctuates the whole podcast so well. Then you have this tacked-on sound byte...it just cheapens it for me. So there it is, my request. Up to you guys, but there it is. Loved the show as usual, looking forward to more great stuff throughout 2018.

Hey Allies, Let me start off with wishing you all a Happy New Year and I am looking forward to what you'll bring in 2018. That being said, i'm going to start the year off with a comment/suggestion on the games you pick during Love and Respect. While the "Mom Reviews" segment was amazing, the "2008" was not the most fun experience when you are just listening in. While it might be fun to play along, if you are listening to the podcast while doing something else it is basically 10 minutes of "Game Title!" followed by "Yes...No...Yes...YAYYY" I wouldn't bring this up if it was a one-off but i've noticed it before and thought I should at least mention it! Of course, it's your show and you can do whatever you want! I'm just surprised Nadia has never brought it up.

Yeah I don't get it either. Compare it to monster Hunter world, I know exactly how that game is going to play and how we will be matched with online players etc. But with Sea Of Thieves I still don't get how it works, are we going to be invaded by other players, it's obviously not an mmo or is it. I just don't get it. how big is the map, how many players are in our world at the same time. Ian mentioned character stats, but like is that in 1 play threw or are we constantly evolving in this world. Man I just don't get this game, what is it.

I'm sorry. I don't understand the Allies' excitement over Sea Of Thieves ever since it first announced. I mean, what is so great about this game, other than the fact that it is developed by a company that has passed its prime. They went crazy over the multiplayer aspect of the game of working together in the ship but in reality, players would rather play on their own terms online. Did I missed out something about this game? The only thing impressive is that at least it did not have the same fate as Scalebound

The way bets work now makes it a boring segment. Kyle and Brandon only have an 25% chance of winning while the gorillas will most likely win more than 50% of the time. The fact that both Kyle and Brandon are on every podcast doesn't give them any advantage. If you toss a coin 10 times it should land on 50% head. But that's not how statistics work. Most likely it could land on 25% times heads or it could even land on heads 75% of the times. Bets are just as random. There is no such thing as home advantage or other benefits. It's pure luck

Brad! FFT is my favorite game of all time! I guessed Tactics as well but thought "No way someone's mom played that." I was pleasantly blown away! I'm thrilled people are still experiencing this incredible story. Wow!
