Tales of Vesperia: First Strike is a good video game movie, probably my favourite. The Ace Attorney live action film is pretty enjoyable and is based on one of the best cases from the 1st game.

IAN! i consider SIGNS a fantastic movie. To me its not about the Aliens at all. Its a familie drama.

Best video game movie : Jumanji.

Just a quick note. That Destiny 2 icon showing up on PS4 dashboard is actually from an opt-in/opt-out feature that you get the chance to disable upon first setting up your ps4 and can be changed later as well. I've had it disabled from day 1.

General Discussion Addition: Sony has also upped the rewards for completing a game (platinum trophy) by giving unique themes upon completion of the game. I've had a theme given to me for Bloodborne and Horizon Zero Dawn.

The backward- and forward-compatibility initiatives, the Game Pass, the community updates---I appreciate these regardless of motive, and it''ll hopefully encourage Sony to give back-compat and Playstation Now a second look. Correction (?): I don't know about anyone from Battlestar Galactica working on Horizon: Zero Dawn, but based on most articles I've read about Horizon's writer, John Gonzales from Fallout: New Vegas was approached by Guerilla specifically for his experience with open-world RPGs.

Correction: I’m a scriptwriter that recently got into writing games. I don’t understand game design but I do understand gameplay and that’s really all you need as a writer working on a game. If you work closely with the game designers and understand the genre and the mechanics of the game you’re writing, it’s not all that different from writing for movies or television. It’s still about strong characters, conflict and compelling themes. Of course, the interactive nature of games is a challenge, but it’s also an opportunity to tell a more personal story and make the player care and connect with the themes you’re trying to convey, in a way that movies could never hope to achieve. I also think the people who keeps insisting that games are an inferior medium to tell stories in are bonkers, especially since there’s so many well written games these days. From smaller titles like “Pyre” to AAA titles like “Horizon Zero Dawn”. Horizon made me scour for audio logs, because they were so well written and well integrated into the game world and the story. Even games that are less story driven can have great writing. Discovering the secret lives of your targets in the latest Hitman game was a joy, and that was in large part because of the writing. I think game-writing will continue to improve because a lot of new writers grew up with games and understand the medium. Sorry for my long rant and broken English. L&amp;R
