Metal Gear Survive Single-Player Preview
Added 2018-01-26 01:13:30 +0000 UTCA little late with this one, as it was a few weeks back that I got to play this, but I finally got to sit down with Kyle (the other ally excited about this game) and go through the few hours I spent with both modes. I can't say for sure whether there's enough in this game to warrant a complete playthrough, but I was definitely hungry to play more when my appointment is over. I had technical issues at the event and was unable to capture gameplay, so I stuck to trailers and screenshots, but I hope you can still get a sense of what it's like making a living in this alternate dimension.

2018-01-26 19:08:12 +0000 UTCI think it's fun that Metal Gear is used as a blanket for other gameplay styles (Acid, Revengeance and now Survive). I think a lot of Konami's involvement in the video game market is riding on this thing. I hope it sells well just so Konami sees the numbers, realizes they can do video games for a good profit and get their head in the game again. I am afraid if this fails, Konami will leave gaming altogether and take its valuable IPs with them, never selling them off because no company would bid the exhorbitant price I imagine Konami would ask. Better to just get them back in the market.
