I've been in the $5 tier for years, and finally bumped it up to producer status. You guys put out an insane amount of stuff, and I can't think of any of it that I don't like. Great news! However, I’m concerned with the wording here. You’ve made clear before that hitting 50 000$ was the goal and even if it dipped back the studio would happen.

I know it was important to communicate this to patrons first. But i think it would be a good idea to also let people know via twitter. Also possibly when your ok recording again make a public video to explain the situation. Might help pull in some new patrons.

I absolutely understand your caution, in fact I would encourage it. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even want you to get a studio until you had spent several months consistently above 50K. As exciting as this is, a little part of me was kinda hoping you'd come in just under this month, because I was worried the sudden bump wouldn't be sustainable for Patrons. With that stuff out of the way, just congrats to you guys. This is such an awesome milestone to hit, and even if the Patreon does drop back down, and the studio has to go on hold for a little bit, with the number of new Patrons continuing to grow, it will only be a matter of time. As soon as we hit the 50K, a few people (myself included) started upping our pledges to help create a safety net, one which we now know was very helpful. If you're reading this and can afford to pledge an extra dollar, please do so. When you think about it, if every Patron took the money they'd spend on one coffee and gave it to the Allies, then things would be locked down. Of course most people contribute what they can and that's enough, but now's the best time to think about these kinds of things. Please consider!

The public Patreon number is showing current pledges. The payout is the amount of pledges paid from last month plus late corrections from previous months. The payout typically varies from the public figure by a fair amount because it includes earlier payments that didn't get corrected in time for the previous month's deadline. Plus there are people who raised pledges for the month then went back to normal pledge amounts after their payments cleared. -Bloodworth
