Spoiler Mode - Ant Man and The Wasp

Thankfully, Ian and Damiani joined me for this Patreon-exclusive chat to share what they thought were the best moments from Ant Man and The Wasp. Expectations are a big deal in the MCU, as each entity finds its own place inside the evolving narrative. We try not to lead into Infinity War Part II too much, but it’s exciting to think what this latest chapter could mean when you look at the big picture.

The movie's release really did sneak up on me. I pretty much forgot when it was coming out. Thankfully, I did see it last Thursday night and loved it. I'll see it again but for now I'd give it a B+/A-. Don't really have anything negative to say about it.

2018-07-09 08:17:53 +0000 UTCOn the step-dad always jumping in for group hugs with Scott - I took it as him trying to stop Scott and his wife from having a moment. In the first movie Cassie's mum was (understandably) pretty cold towards Scott, but now that he's turned his life around she's clearly very happy with him again. Step-dad can see that, and feels slightly threatened by it.

2018-07-08 23:36:46 +0000 UTCCool, I wasn't expecting this, but I'll always cheer for MCU talk. It premiered in Finland already on the 4th, I watched it right away. Not my favourite, to be honest, but still a fun film. Wasp was essentially the main character, she had the best sequences. And I really, really like Evangeline Lilly as Hope. :]
