Mission Impossible: Fallout - Spoiler Mode

I loved when Walker just knocked Lark out with the computer case. :D Really solid movie, I knew this would deliver once again.

Ghost Protocol brought MI back with an incredibly entertaining formula but if you go back and watch it, the character Jane and Jeremy Renner's performances detract a bit from the experience. 5 did right by leaving Jane out, although Renner was underutilized - I think he still had potential after 4 but am more than happy to see Rebecca Ferguson in his place as the other on-screen badass since she's pretty incredible. I think that Jackie Chan takes number 1 action star as far as legendary status goes but in terms of MI 4 through 6 Tom Cruise has clearly done the biggest, craziest stunts. I do hope that this movie goes down in history as an action great And this is the top bathroom fight scene - True Lies is legendary but clearly oldschool, Casino Royale is grim and gritty, but stressing the word "fight" nothing in those two tops the brutal fight in Fallout

I'm gonna sound like a super old nerd here, but honestly, I think going by the "Tom Cruise" metric of judging "action hero-ness" that he's still chasing the unattainable ideal of Buster Keaton. While Keaton wasn't hanging off the side of a C130 on takeoff, he probably did what in that time period were equally as technologically impressive feats with a minimum of safety equipment, medical care, and no such thing as insurance.

I don't watch spoiler modes for games I haven't played yet so it's tough since otherwise I wouldn't be able to watch 90% of these. Movies are easier to get through in a couple of hours and ride the zeitgeist so it's nice that we get some of them The obvious solution is to do both where appropriate - the more exclusive content, the more supporting the Patreon is attractive to people

Huber, if you love a good knife fight, watch The Man From Nowhere. Or just YouTube the knife fight scene. It’s 10/10

Rogue Nation, because of Rebecca Ferguson, was my favorite MI and now it's a tossup between the two. I think there are one or two nitpicks here that might slot it in right behind but it's undeniable how impressive this movie was. I'm a big fan of the franchise and now just wondering what they could even possibly do next

The last three Mission Impossible movies have been unbelievably good. I also agree with Huber that Tom Cruise is one of the best action stars ever at this point.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me, the spoiler mode being about video games is more important that it being topical and timely. Most of us would have a hard time finishing a game before the respective spoiler mode gets released anyway. The Huber Syndrome about the Arkhame games was basically a spoiler mode about old games and it was great.

Loved the film and thoroughly enjoyed this Spoiler Mode. Best Action Scene for me was Motorbike through Paris, looked realistic and super fast. The nightclub scene gave me flashbacks of Collateral. The bathroom scene was intense, laughed at the pretence of having a noise bleed covers the pints of blood on the floor! I’m like Ian completely forgot the last film not that I didn’t enjoy it; but it’s just sort of gone from memory. My favourite is 1, then 6 close behind. Best action star for me is Jackie Chan, there is nothing that comes close to Police Story, or Project A. Yes others have come along, but they haven’t had the longevity or insane risk he took.
