Ian here, out of town so this is coming a little late, and so we've got a tight turn around on this discussion. As such, don't feel compelled to answer every question, just pick one or two that speak to you and go for it, feel free to add any thoughts that occur to you.

Which Heists have stolen your heart?
The best heists have really powerful driving motives. What motives for a heist are most convincing/powerful for you in a Heist film?
STAKES! There's no drama without high stakes, which heist movie is the most intense?
Do you think it's better if they pull it off, or get caught in the act?
Are heist movies a metaphor for something? Or are they just good fun?
Do you prefer gritty style or STYLE style like Oceans 11?
Comic versions of the heist film are often called Caper films, what are your faves of those?
Heist films are often all about making a plan and trying to execute it, do films like 13 Assassins (where there isn't a theft but it follows the same plot model) still heist films?
How important is a good nemesis or rival thieving crew?
It used to be that the heist almost always failed, but in recent years we have seen more and more successful jobs, what do you think motivated this change?
Now a days it is frequent that the victim/institution being robbed is painted as the bad guy and our thieves as the good guys, is that necessary for the narrative to work? Do we have to root for the thieves?
