As a fellow McFeely, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely deserve some love Kyle

Correction: Xbox Game Pass is only $10 a month, not $20. If you wish to purchase any Game Pass game, it's a 20% discount on the MS store (Editorial: So yeah...this NES subscription service business is a terd. Bums me out. I just want to buy classic games - NES, SNES, N64, GC, GBC, GBA, DS and Wii - and play them when I want on the Switch)

William

I never subscribe to YouTube channels (not even to the EZA channel) - but I am happy to make an exception for Mr. Hoeg. "Help us out Hoeg!' is great - would love to see more stuff like that.

Correction: While "Star Wars Battlegrounds" is the RTS game (running Genie engine same as Age of Empires I & II) The expansion was 'Clone Campaigns', 'Gungan Frontier' is an eLearning game

Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow is my favorite SNES hidden gem. Levels alternate between Donald in a Hawaiian shirt with a gun that shoots magical bugs to Donald as a ninja with a bow staff needed for platforming and combat. Only complaint I have is how the screen scrolls when you change directions, but you get used to it. I had this game as a kid and loved it. Music is one of the best parts! Higher quality versions on the PC. If you can find the PC game on disc you can actually use it as a soundtrack. I prefer the SNES versions though since that’s what I grew up with, but the PC soundtrack is better.

I tried to get the Super Spork from ChexQuest onto the EZA Greatest Weapons list at the Revengeance Concert but Huber just scoffed and moved on ;_; Good to know some allies appreciate ChexQuest

Correction: Listerine was originally used as a surgical antiseptic, not a floor cleaner. Correction: Halitosis is a real thing and can often be a symptom of serious issues in the mouth. If it’s unusual for you, don’t ignore it!

Otawong

Yeah. Any chance that future videos could use the form "May 9th 2018" or something similar to help us non-US folks feel like we've not travelled months into the future? ISO 8601 Date Format (YYYY-MM-DD) would also work!

Greg

That goes for everyone!

For the love of God please floss every day Bosman!!!!

Just checked out the Hoeg Law YouTube channel. Figured it'd be a good way to support the allies and their MEGASPONSORS even if I wasn't all that interested in business law videos. Well blow me down if it was not what I was expecting at all. Their Infinity War analysis video is one of the best I've seen. Next week I'd really suggest the Hoeg Law PHT copy should definitely include some mentions of the recent videos on the channel. πŸ‘

CLARIFICATION (Kinda): The double pistols in the Tomb Raider film is not only the ending but the post credits scene. Seems trailers are even spoiling that now. And GoW shared it’s release move with Yakuza 6, which obviously got buried. I also miss Matchbox Twenty Kyle.

Thanks for answering my RP question. Maybe one reason the idea was foreign to me was most of the RPGs I grew up with either had you control a cast of characters, so you weren't directed to identify with one, or they had linear storylines that didn't give the player much choice. Since I was used to just observing the story in a game, it felt weird at first trying to think as a character. It has gotten easier in D&D, especially since I've taken the time to write a backstory, but I still can't picture myself RPing in a video game. I guess part of it is a lot of the fun of RPing in D&D has been interacting with other players. Restricting myself to RPing when I'm only playing with AI doesn't sound fun.

Brad was hilarious. Loved his Goofy impersonation

Ian had me LOL at work. Thanks a lot.

Correction: Contrary to the popular belief that Listerine coined the term halitosis, its origins date to before the product's existence, being coined by physician Joseph William Howe in his 1874 book The Breath, and the Diseases Which Give It a Fetid Odor, although it only became commonly used in the 1920s when a marketing campaign promoted Listerine as a solution for "chronic halitosis" a then obscure medical term for bad breath.

Correction: Square Enix's E3 conference is on June 11, 2018, not July 11

I actually think getting rid of Virtual Console could be good. Maybe we get compilations of games on Switch. Something like Super Nintendo Classics : Vol 1. A physical cart with 10 SNES games for $60. That seems expensive, but for a physical cart, people would be excited.

Interesting Fact : The left joycon issue Ian talks about is actually the cause of a change Nintendo is making. They are releasing a new version of the Joycon that completely fix this issue, so don't buy joycon for the next few months.

Achievements are actually highly contested in the game dev scene. Many developers see achievements as cheap ploys to add meaningless collectibles when they could use that time to add quality content into a game. Many people also dislike having achievements pop up in the middle of cutscenes, or getting virtual pats on the back for doing something like completing a required mission or simply starting the game for the first time. Personally, I dislike platform-wide achievement systems. A system designed specifically for a game is great, but simply tossing in a few lines of code to make a text bubble appear isn't appealing to me.

Correction: The Classic NES Games that come with Nintendo Switch Online do not go away. Last year they said that was the case, but they have since changed that stance. They will add more games, not remove old ones.

Imagine a Marvel game that plays like Dragons Crown! I would love that!

Chris H

Me? I'm 100% HYPE on the potential.

Raven Perez

I know the opening NES line up doesn't flip anyone's lid.. but when you consider the games they brought over to virtual console (Mole Mania being a hidden gem I had no idea how much I would love.. I know Donkey Kong 94 on 3ds introduced tons of people to that gem) then it's a lot more exciting to think about games popping up on a service that costs you less than a large pizza per year.

Raven Perez

That's because of your settings

Ibrahim Sozer

Looked like a hedgehog to me...enhance !!

Christian Thomas

I think he mean't a person physically could read everyday on a train whether they were standing or sitting so thinking realistically it doesn't make sense that you can't in persona 5

What was that shadow at 11:33? Was that a bird? Haha

Corey Swafford

I love the off topic banter they always do after bets.

Cash

Awesome game Iron Man/XO. Also shout-outs for other classic retro Marvel Games: The Avengers Sega Genisis, X-Men 2 Sega Genisis, Maximum Carnage snes/genesis.

Tegan Combatti

I just wanted to let you know that I never received an e-mail notification for the Podcast being available like before. I'm not sure if that was just a change that happened and I didn't know, or if changing the tiers unclicked something. Obviously I could still access it from the Patreon page, but figured I'd let you know. ^_^

CORRECTION: Kyle the Iron Man game you are thinking of is Iron Man X-O Manowar: Heavy Metal

SnakeEyes

Correction: The nes games stay as long your subbed to the service and you can play them offline also, last to add is they will be adding new games to the service also.

CORRECTION [01:10:35]: you cannot read every day on the train in Persona 5, only on the days when you have a seat.

DaleBastion

CORRECTION: Shawn Layden did not come in to Fury Road music during E3 2016. Kyle was correct, that was Kojima.

I love that that's the game that has inspired you to start commenting. Now I want to check it out too

DaleBastion

Kyle! First time commenting on the Patreon. Goofy’s Histerical Historty Tour is an amazing game! I had it for Sega Genesis and is worth a check out. L&R
