Never played Shenmue (and will very likely not enjoy it), but dang it I’m gonna buy and play all 3 for Huber at this point. I’m open to being surprised and (maybe) liking them!

2018-05-17 17:40:07 +0000 UTCI missed out on Shenmue when I owned my first Dreamcast before it was sold in the early 2000s. Having it now with the second, its great to finally play it. I was actually interested more thanks to the Yakuza series. Whenever I heard it was compared to Shenmue it had me curious. So I'm excited for the remasters, for everyone to finally experience the two games on modern platforms. :)

2018-05-17 10:51:33 +0000 UTCFor the longest time, I refused to play Yakuza because I felt it was just a pale imitation of Shenmue, but I’ve grown to appreciate the series as its cousin. That being said, I’m pretty hyped to go through Shenmue 1&2, mostly because I never did the chicken mini game
