Last night several of the Allies got to attend the Kingdom Hearts III Premiere Event in Los Angeles. An hour presentation from director Tetsuya Nomura and co-director Tai Yasue gave us a glimpse into the development process, but revealed nothing in the way of new worlds or real new info. They did say that they would be revealing the release date, as well as a lot of new info in early June (which we all took to mean E3).
We then got to spend the next few hours going hands-on with Kingdom Hearts III -- the first time it's ever been playable. There were two demos, the first involved scaling Mount Olympus to fight a Titan, and the other focused on the brand new Toy Story world. Brad, Ben, and Damiani got together after the event to share their impressions from the demo. We did our best to avoid specific story discussion and offer general impressions on that subject, though we dive deeper into the combat, visuals, voice work, and world designs.
Enjoy!
