Trailer Jones - Deadpool 2, Red Dead Redemption II, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Great format. I didn't enjoy the old format when you had the video on loop while everyone talked off camera. So keep this up if you can, it was great to see you reviewing trailers again. I love trailers for anything and always have. That's how I found you about 15 years ago when I was searching for video game trailers. Been watching you guys for a big chunk of my life. I have a feeling the best is still yet to come. L&R

I know you're absolute pros at this, but I haven't seen these trailers. I had to stop and go watch the trailers and come back. I think it would be good to play the trailers before hopping into the discussion.

Let me just say I love most of these new changes, so what I say next doesn't sound completely ungrateful. As much as I'm usually a longform content kind of guy, I think this show works better as shortform content. You wouldn't lump a bunch of reviews into one package and release it, and I don't think doing this with trailers is the best way to present this type of show short term or long term. That said, I understand the current necessity of doing so as everyone has to drive so far to shoot this together, and it doesn't make much sense to delay reactions to a fresh trailer out a week or even weeks after this is shot and edited solely for releasing them apart from one another and filling out the month. Likewise it probably feels dumb to simultaneously release a bunch of standalone episodes at the same time, clogging up the Youtube Channel, so I completely get why yall have decided to bundle them together like this. I've tried to think of a solution, but the best I could come up with is still staggering their release a couple days over the course of a week, like a new episode every two days for the week or however long is needed to release the shot batch. I know though that some people will prefer getting these reactions faster than having even an extra week or so tops tacked onto the delay to watching these episodes, and sitting on finished content doesn't make a ton of sense either. I do think though, if not now, then when we hit the Studio goal this is a discussion that should be revisited in making every trailer discussion it's own episode assuming that new environment will facilitate the ability to shoot these right after trailers come out rather than in batches when is convenient as they are now.

Ok I hate the new jingle. I get you’re trying to go retro fun with it but it does NOT work for me. I’m sure I’ll eventally get used to it but considering how much I’ve liked your other intro bits (spoiler mode is brilliant and nails the joyfully irreverent tone of your panel shows, the podcast intro, and Rufus are instantly memorable). I was surprised by how immediately and strongly the whole thing was a hard no for me (I don’t like any part of it, music, lyrics, nothing). Love the show though. Sorry
