Ian and Brandon's Home Studio Tips and Tricks! - Easy Update

Love love love this. Hate unboxing vids, but so excited for yous guys.

Cloisterance

I really enjoyed this, thank you. This video was very much a type of comedic pacing that i enjoy (slow+dry?). I also really enjoyed the stylistic sense of humor in the editing... kind of reminding me of tv's the office & parks n rec- but with a more indie, and a even weirder sense of comedy & feeling . Great stuff gentlemen, i really liked it.

You could shoot 10 seasons of Ian unboxing stuff in an Amazon warehouse.

Random thoughts...... Fortnight? ..... You so need Daniel Kayser as a guest star! The moment Brandon puts the label on Ian sums up EZA perfectly for me. LOVE & RESPECT at its best! Also this is by far the most professional unboxing video n the history of people opening boxes to get to things in them. Be proud of yourself! (Can I marry this video?) #GoTeamUnboxing

love you guys

This was hilarious!

Domino Hurley

So jolly. :-)

The mood of this is perfect. Sad about the Switcher not working tho.

Star Tsurugi

They really held onto that bit for a long time!

David Balfour

So good

Estaban

Super jolly video!

Sonny Laguna

Thank you for doing this video. I loved it and couldn't stop laughing through parts. Good luck with the switcher. Please keep the community up to date and if we can help with anything. L&R

Loved this! I love that, even though the humor won’t land for many, you went for it and owned it and ultimately made it a wonderfully entertaining video. Also love that this is a semi-culmination of that one, awesome night of giving. So happy to see it all get setup.

Micah Hendrick

It's pretty hard to explain all that stuff to someone who doesn't know a lot about it. But basically you need cameras that can be plugged into a mixer, you want the highest possible quality and as an added bonus you want interchangeable lenses. The Black Magic Micro Studio cameras are really small but offer a lot of interfaces you need for live registration (livestreaming) and has a high image quality. The Sony FS5 is really populair because it offers really high image quality but the form factor isn't really bulky and it has a lot of inputs for live registration. So it's an ideal run 'n gun camera and can also be used with ease for livestreaming. The lenses they've bought are fairly allround which is perfect for their setup and use case. I don't have a lot of knowledge about mixers, lights and mics so I can't really comment on that :P

I asked this on YouTube as well but I know next to nothing about filming and equipment and would love a break down of how and why you chose what you did. I wouldn’t even know what criteria to judge things by. I find learning about other people’s jobs fascinating. There are all theses hidden worlds. Perhaps you can do a guest appearance on Cup of Jones?

Sarah Wampler

I love the cheesy tone in this video! Also, thanks for having an alternate video to watch minus the VCR effects. It was nice to go back to the clean video to get a better image of how the new setup looks!

My parents also call it that!

Great idea having an EZAUpdate eps as the studio setup! I didnt realize i was watching it in 4k! And i have a 4k monitor!

Danni-H4

The future of EZA starts... Right now!

"I had a fort night" ... THE CRINGE! XD

Tim Albers

Seemed like a couple of weeks ago when you guys did the first video, my how time flies!

Great set-up, guys! Only thing that I worry about is the IKEA desk w/ all that new equipment. Is it sturdy enough?

This was perfect

Stephen

Hahahahaha great vid! E3 in a fort ftw!

Dileepan M

Congrats, guys :)

Kenny Montenegro

Man that must have been a really tough day getting all this stuff installed. Then throw making a great video for us on top of it, you guys are the best. Can't wait to see the quality boost!

I'm so happy for you guys! Enjoy all the new equipment!

Still 2 weeks away from e3, i think it they will get a new by then

Angelo Torres

Great episode! Too bad for the switcher. Is it possible to get the new still in time for E3 you think?

Sven Van Lathem

I was laughing so hard, and not even a minute into the video

Yayyyyy been looking forward to this video

Great episode! SO COOL

Parasitepaladin

The switcher! Hope that it can be exchanged quickly!

This is incredibly funny and also jaw dropping because of the complexity of the setup and what everything does. I'm very eager to see the first round of shows with the new setup to see if there need to be any kinks or unexpected aspects to work out before E3. Now to wait on a working switcher..... Either way, thanks for letting us see in 20 minutes what probably took 6-10 hours to do, if not longer!

Brandon K Gann

Love this. Looking forward to the new set up.

LeeLore

Can't hardly wait to watch the first show with the new setup.

Felipe Fonseca

Alright first thing's first
