Cup of Jones - June 5, 2018

One last Cup before E3, allies! A healthy supply of questions/comments this week about our coverage plans, how the new studio is working out, and personal questions you can feel free to bail on once the business talk has concluded. Thanks for joining me!

Cup of Jones - June 5, 2018

Comments

Hey Jones! With the Easy Living trailer popping up at the end of E3 coverage, time to remind you - can we get extra B roll of beachy stuff this time? Something more than just one episode of Easy Update? I loved the Easy Living Easy Update, but I need more. I need you all playing beach volleyball and surfing and building sand castles and skateboarding on the boardwalk!

I loved your E3 coverage, but how high would YOU rate your coverage? What do you think EZA can improve next year and what do you think EZA has pretty much nailed? - Axass (Alessandro)

Okay Jones. So I was listening to the coverage of E3 and you made one of the best points I've ever heard. You said that the biggest takeaway from REmake was the Lisa subplot and all the things they added to make the game better. You told Huber how you honestly did not expect RE2make to be as good because "lightning just doesn't strike twice" in this way. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of REmake and RE2 remake. I'm glad this new remake looks so good. Anyways for my question. If there was ANY game that you could have remade from the ground up and improved, another "lightning in a bottle" scenario, what would that game be? This game would take the original and improve on it and literally make it better. This could be a game that you love dearly, or a game you just thought didn't live up to it's full potential.

I hope you're doing well today

Hi Jones, Thank you guys so much for the superb E3 coverage. Played Resident Evil Code: Veronica X while listening to the pre and post shows. Completed the game the last day of E3. This game is a prime example of a 7.8 from the characters to level design. Did you get the chance to play the RE2 remaster?

bjørnar haraldsvik

I've had your "Mike Buddy" jingle stuck in my head for a week now Jones, so I hope you're happy about that! That aside, I was wondering what the hardest/juiciest industry related secret you've ever had to keep is, that you were just dying to tell someone but couldn't.

**Personal Section / Or E3 section if you have one this week** Hi Jones. Long-time listener, first time caller. I'll try to keep it succinct. What got the biggest reaction from the audience during the Cyberpunk 2077 closed door demo? Sidenote: My bet on a release date is Q2 2020. This would be similar to The Witcher 3's E3 Demo in 2013 and the game releasing in May 2015. (They have said it will be on PS4/XB1, so this allows it to release before next gen, which I expect to launch in Q4 2020.) L&amp;R - Aaron Kirk / Kurxx on Twitch chat

Aaron Kirk - Kurxx

First of all, thanks for everyone's hard work and passionate delivery of E3 reactions and impressions. This was my first time following along in real time (I've known about EZA since this past November) and it was a blast. My questions is this: Given where we are in the current gen/next gen cycle, am I right to be concerned about which console games like Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Last of Us Part II and Cyberpunk will be released on? I just bought a standard PS4 this past Black Friday, and I don't want to buy a PS4 Pro so close to when the PS5 might come out. Thoughts? L&amp;R

Zachary Jennings

Now that E3 2018 is over, how are you doing?

As a pretty adamant Xbox fan I have to disagree that they threw in the towel on this generation, but I do agree it was about the future. While I'm not sure why they mentioned their next gen console, their acquisition of 4 studios and a creation of a new one showed me they're still all in. I have a PS4, but the fact that Neir Automata as well as Tales of Vesperia and other titles that were Playstation exclusive are hitting Xbox told me they're still working hard on this generation while still planning for the future.

I don't mind the new color, but I found it amusing he changed the look right after he built the lego garage making it the "old garage setup" now.

Great work again on E3 coverage this year. The overlays created by your friends (Sadly forgot the name for who created them) used for the streams and breaks were a great surprise. They were almost right up there with the equipment upgrades for slick, new presentation upgrades. Is this something you and the Allies would consider using for podcasts (e.g. Ian bringing up the current topic during the Easy Allies Podcast) or special group streams like Easy Living? Or is this purely a tool to improve your E3 coverage? Would also love any insight and behind the scenes looks into what went into building and managing the overlays sometime, too, if that isn't too big an ask. Thanks, and once again, great job on E3 coverage this year!

Hey Brandon! I know you've answered the "Why is The Final Bosman not back?" question plenty of times, and I know that the answer is, "it's Kyle's decision." That's totally fine, and I know that currently he wouldn't be able to just because of how much time he's putting into Box Peek. My question is, has Kyle said WHY specifically he doesn't want to do an opinion show on EZA? I'd have to assume you guys have had this conversation before, probably multiple times. I thought maybe he was just over that format, but then he ended up doing the "Dear Bosman" segment for awhile on Youtube Live with Geoff Keighley, and since then I've been more confused than ever. Even if not Bosman, I think a scripted or semi-scripted opinion show on EZA is a sorely lacking element and one I'd love to see come back with any the allies, or different allies every week.

Josh Read

Was this E3's press conference essentially Microsoft throwing in the towel on this generation? Seemed all about the future, even mentioning next gen.

Hey Brandon, I don't remember you getting much of a chance to discuss what you thought of EA and Sony's conferences in any real detail. I'm sure you've got worthwhile and interesting things to say about both, especially since Sony's must have been so different in person. Can we get a quick rundown?

James Anderson

I have just come across the first business EZA action that I actually feel a little uncomfortable about. I know you guys sometimes do giveaways for Ghiblifest. I do not know if this is part of that or what, but upon checking the EZA youtube page tonight to rewatch some of the E3 content I was confused. At first I wondered if youtube had started running banner ads, then I realized that the EZA title header has been replaced with an ad for Pom Poko at Ghiblifest. On every other yotube channel I subscribe to this is a title header representing the channel. It makes me feel very uncomfortable look at this, something I see on every other page as a representation of the youtube channel in question, and see an ad on the EZA channel page. It's surely a limited time thing, the showing dates (right on the ad on your youtube page) say it's for June 17/18/20. Has this been going on all this time and I've missed it? Will this be happening for other things in the future? Perhaps this is actually no big deal, but just sitting here looking at the official EZA youtube page with an ad right on top of it really leaves me feeling uneasy.

Talix Rune

As someone who really only consumes EZA in audio I am really disappointed in EZA's abysmal audio coverage for E3 2018. Why not release the Impressions on the podcast feed? The few Impressions videos I checked out didn't appear to reference the clip playing on a loop, so they seem perfect for putting out in an audio only format.

Brandon Plays Yakuza 52k Goal? Or X-ally plays X-game (like Brandon Plays Pokémon) 52k goal? I think there's a lot of demand for the show to return in the community, and it's a good excuse for you to play Yakuza!

mikkel hervel nemmøe

(Apologies in advance for my English since it's not my mother tongue) Good morning Brandon! (evening here while you're hopefully reading this) First of all, congratulations on your outstanding coverage of E3. It's amazing that Frame Trap has reached 7 out of 7 sponsors. So now, including the EZA Podcast, every sponsor slot is sold out. Have you considered the possibility of looking for sponsorship for Friend Code? I mean, we could say Friend Code is the third EZA Podcast, and while it's way less viewed than the EZA Podcast or Frame Trap I think you could try and add a new tier to sponsor Friend Code, even if it is a $100-$150 tier (taking into account that Friend Code is an every other week podcast and that it gets between a half and a third of the EZA Podcast and Friend Trap's views). I'm not sure if this is a good idea but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Thanks, L&amp;R. -Álvaro

Hey Brandon, really loving your E3 footage, its really helping me get through some painfully long night shifts. However, I have a suggestion as to how to avoid spoilers for the viewers. The spoilers I'm referring to are the videos with specific game reactions from the Allies. I'm from Australia and have to watch the press conferences on youtube after you've put them up, and will often see the titles of these videos before I get to see the press conference reaction videos. My suggestion is to have a separate playlist, potentially called "E3 moments" or "E3 reactions" which would comprise these specific game reactions, this way I can go straight to the E3 playlist and just watch the press conferences and get surprised just as the Allies are. This is obviously a suggestion for next year's E3. I found solace in going to twitch and just watching the entire stream for the last few press conferences, and had some amazing moments reacting with the Allies. Other than that, I have been blown away by how good your coverage has been and, as always, will continue supporting you for as long as I can. L+R, Tyler.

We all know that Blood is working around the clock to make Easy Allies better. But I feel that Damiani gets even less sleep, and he is rarely credited by other allies. Is it his choice to stay in the shadows, or do we all owe him a round of applause?

Alexander Zyryanov

There are time stamps separating the two ( often times three segments), but for each question to get timestamps would likely be a lot of work and clutter the Youtube/Patreon descriptions since its often over 30 plus questions submitted.

Hi Brandon, I‘m not a particularly big fan of Spiderman. My main point of contact with the franchise are the six big movies which I liked. I‘m looking forward to the game but mostly because it‘s a big budget Insomniac game with fun mechanics. However I‘m worried that Spiderman can‘t provide the emotional aspect and weight that seperate the truly great games from regular great games for me. Since you and Kyle are so passionate about the character and the game and have much more knowledge about the Spiderverse than I do I wonder if you can give me hope that the game can be more than just a fun, perfectly executed comic book game adaptation. What are the hooks that can get to me at an emotional level because I‘m afraid I don‘t see it yet? Love &amp; Respect - Andreas

Three questions, one personal, two business. Personal: What was your worst/favorite moment of E3? Business: Have you considered adding something to or changing the five dollar tier? While I don't have unlimited funds, I would not break the bank by upping myself to the five dollar from one, but I don't feel like I have any incentive. Having early access to shows does not really make a differance to me, it might for some, but as long as I get the shows I am happy, a couple of days later do not bother me. I might shoot myself in the foot by saying this, but I feel like you should have more exclusive shows (behind the 5 dollar wall). I feel that you are way too charitable by giving away as much content as you do for the low low cost of 1 dollar a month. Would it be possible to get all the shows on the RSS feed? At the moment I can't find the podcast or friend code on the feed. Thanks L&amp;R -Johan

Hi Brandon, I really enjoyed the E3 coverage this year, but there's one thing that didn't sit right with me from last year's coverage that unfortunately happened again this year: I really would have liked for you guys to be more clear from the start about if and how you plan to cover the Devolver Digital video event. It seems really unfair that Huber, two years in a row, had to struggle to lead a post-show discussion of the Bethesda conference while a third of the room is drifting in and out of the conversation and the monitor is unpredictably flipping between Bethesda B-roll and Devolver stuff. He handled it like a pro, of course, but it sucked seeing him put in that situation again and it resulted in a disorganized and chaotic post-show for the second straight year (and not the fun kind of chaos). I think vaguely stating in the E3 schedule that you might check in on Devolver was not a great approach and led to a lot of discord in the chat over what was essentially a comedy skit with a couple of trailers. I think it would be better to draw a clear line between either watching Bethesda and Devolver and then having one post-show or being all-in on Bethesda and then watching any trailers from Devolver afterward—especially since you knew what to expect from their show last year. Sorry if this comes across as harsh, but it was just a bummer to see Huber trying his best and having to deal with the same problem as last year when it could have been handled better. On a positive note, I loved the Sweet Justice "Sweetest Moment" sponsorship and thought it was a really organic and fun way to integrate advertising into the show more prominently. Really classy stuff. -Dan

I'd like to suggest you guys make a reaction clips video alongside a typical "Easy Allies Clips video" for E3 this week. Where the typical EZA clips video is humour based, reactions is just based around the best conference moments. Just my thoughts.

Who had the best six-pack at E3?

Business question: I’m not sure if you’re aware, but a while back a fellow Ally created EZA fan survey at ResetEra. It was made purely for fun and the sample size was pretty small, but some of the results were kinda interesting. For example, Hall of Greats won the “Favorite ongoing streaming series?” category by a landslide. Out of 233 responses: 61% -- prefered the Hall of Greats 16% -- prefered Amateur Gundam Construction 14% -- prefered Dumb/Fun Game Monday What’s your reaction to this and would guys consider doing HoG streams more often, like once every two months? How tall are you and the rest of the allies?

2 things. First, inverted look (up on stick looks down) is the correct way. Flight stick controls are the scientifically proven* method of piloting through 3D space. Non-inverted is just wrong. Secondly, why do you think gaming as a medium has fans clamouring for remakes where all other forms of entertainment view that as diminishing returns? Movie reboots are almost always derided, and nobody ever reboots a novel. I want new IPs. End remakes, it's lazy. Ba-iii. *Scientific proof anecdotal.

Hey Jones, Having seen a lot of coverage and pictures from E3 attendees over the years, there always seems to be an overabundance of swag. What's the best bit of E3 swag that you've seen? What about the worst (or weirdest)?

DashTwenty7

Personal Question: Hey Jones. On the last Cup of Jones I asked you about games having a soul. Your answer was very interesting to me and I believe it came down to what we meant by soul. To me, it seemed like you were highlighting games that have an ‘emotional soul’, whereas I was more thinking of it as a game being it’s own unique entity. However I have a return on your hot take about Dark Soul’s emotional soul. Dark Souls may not explicitly tell you an emotional story with characters to get invested in to, but it does take you on an emotional journey. Dark Souls journey (to me) is one of persevering through hardship, every aspect reflects this, even the layout of the game, having to drop down to the lowest, darkest area before you ascend to the city of light. It's all ups and downs, emotional ups and downs, literal ups and downs. There's a lot of people out there who have made video essays about this, I'm sure you know that. Maybe I believe that Dark Souls is more profound than it is because I found it at a bad time in my life and it really resonated with me, but in my opinion Miyazaki's interest in psychology paid off. Everyone can relate to the story of persevering through hardship, it's at the core of being a human being. The fact that it can convey this so well non-verbally is why I love it, and I think for a game that says so much without speaking, it's appropriate that the characters follow suit. Hope you and everyone else had a great E3!

Morning Jones When you get the studio, what would leave the garage and what would stay in it? The figurines? The posters? The couch? L&amp;R Aurélien

As promised, a short one: You want to step up your E3 game, and so far it seems to go in a good direction. Last year you decided to present your E3 awards as just a live stream of you deciding on the winners. While it's great to see that process, my wish for this year is, that you also summon up the winners in an scripted and edited video, with voice over, graphics and game footage. Cheers!

Snowcone Guy

Hi Brandon, I have a E3 leaks related question. Why do you think developers share information of their unannounced games with Walmart (Rage 2, Forza etc) and Steam (Just Cause 4) risking leaking the games before the official announcement. We've always had leaks but this year it seems a bigger issue than in the past. Does the possibility for consumers to pre-order immediately after the announcement (i'm guessing this is the reason for sharing game info with retailers/Steam) beat the risk of the game leaking before you get to announce it? Maybe I put too much value in the announcement but it seems weird to put al lot of effort and spend a lot of money to announce your game and then share the info with too many people and have the announcement spoiled by a webmaster that puts the info up too soon. Why do developers / publisher keep doing this?

CoJ Question: Why was the garage wall repainted grey? (I truly miss the warmth and coziness of the yellow paint background T_T)

I think they don’t feel comfortable having Amanda contribute more since she isn’t paid at all

Kevin

Regarding FF6, Thank you for inviting a dialog, I wasn't sure if you meant converse about it here or via twitter or, whatever. As soon as you mentioned Loche was your favorite character I realized why you love FF6. Loche is not the strongest party member. (Unless i'm doing something vastly wrong) but he forges the most interesting relationships between the other characters and NPC's. So you value story over mechanics in this case. I can respect that, in the first 6 final fantasy games 4 and 6 are the only two that have a story worth remembering and 6 is far more deep and interesting then "Is Cain a good guy or a bad guy now?". Incidentally, last night I found the Soul Sabre, a sword that drains MP from monsters instead of dealing damage and was amazed at how this one item really changed how i viewed the battle system. Suddenly Celes was a more reliable caster, what I always wanted her to be. So, it's looking up already. I do have a question for you, the first time you played the game, did you let him die?

Sean Dupree

Hey Jones, Why is no one talking about Red Dead 2's "pay to win" edition? The $99 edition of Red Dead allows for players to "Level up" quicker. That is the definition of pay to win and yet no major outlet is discussing it. (At least not to my knowledge) If EA announced that Battlefield V's collections edition allowed players to level up faster, it would have been news on every site. Why does it feel like Rockstar is getting a pass and what do your thoughts about this? Not to mention the bank robbery mission locked behind the $79 edition. (Of course, people may say to just wait until Rockstar talks more about their online services before getting upset. We don't know how their leveling system will work, what type of perks does leveling up reward you, etc. But if leveling up has to offer some type of perk, rather it's access to certain modes, weapons, or abilities. If leveling up didn't offer any game play advantages, they wouldn't have added a bullet point regarding this.)

NotYourMom

Just curious if you know where some of the old GT members have wondered off too? Specifically names that pop to mind are Justin “the quite storm” Spear, Matt Blaire and, Marcus Beere. I’m sure I miss spelled some names.

With the second season of Westworld not focusing on the Western atmosphere anymore, are you still enjoying it?

Steve S

Hi Jones, first time commenting in awhile. I have a Business Question that I was wondering. I don't get to watch the streams as often as I like, but I try to remember to resub every month. I use Twitch Prime, so I'm curious on how much this helps in comparison to Patreon. You and other allies have often mentioned that "if all YT viewers and listeners donated $1/mo, we'd be set on goals." I definitely don't want to make it sound like I'm suggesting the numbers be combined. I understand the services have different and varying challenges to manage, but I'd like to think there are alot of people that just "have" Amazon Prime and don't use their monthly Twitch Prime subs. So I'm wondering how much of an effect these Twitch subs have on EZA's funds and resources to produce things. It may be worth pushing in the same way as $1 patrons without the worry of sapping existing Patrons for more funds? Obviously, new subs and patrons is the best option, but I'm simply wondering if this a feasible revenue source.

Justin Greene

Hi Jones, I had question about the next generation of consoles, specifically Sony and Microsoft. Would you rather they do something similar to Nintendo with a hybrid home and portable console or do another straight up home device like they have been doing? I believe that graphics won't improve dramatically with the next generation and the bulk of the change will be with resolution and framerate. So I would rather have a slight improvement in power but with portability. L&amp;R, Jorge

ramentaco

Hi guys, I'm sure this has been asked in the past, but have the addition of time stamps been discussed before for Cup of Jones. As these are usually fairly lengthy and much subject matter is covered, it would be a very welcome addition for those that aren't interested in all the material covered. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the voice tips Jones! By the time I'm writing this post my voice is mostly recovered, fingers crossed by the time you read this my voice is fully recovered. You mentioned trying tea, I've never been much of a tea drinker, and I recently quit soda so I am looking for something new to drink to replace the soda. I've considered trying tea, but I don't know where to start. What are some tea's you like/recommend trying?

Daniel Kozlowski

Hello Jones! I was watching TTE and got to thinking how good some of the moments would be for clips. I thought it might be a fun idea to maybe start airing new episodes of your pre-recorded shows like TTE or the podcasts on Twitch when new episodes drop. This could serve as both an added variety and showcase of EZA for Easy Allies Clips and also help keep the Twitch channel active between streams. I think it would be fun for the community to interact in chat as they all watch the new episodes together, as well. Thanks!

Esther Devil

Hey, Jones, I want to ask you if you've been following any video game trailer editors. I only know about Derek Lieu, who you might know from creating the E3 Firewatch trailer. That's a damn good trailer. This here is a talk he did on how he approaches editing trailers and is accompanied by Jake Rodkin of Campo Santo/Valve and Ron Gilbert. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np11BUGbj88" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np11BUGbj88</a> It goes into many facets of trailer development. From the tech available to game trailer editors to actual performance/acting. You should give it a watch if you haven't. Maybe everybody should. Do you know of any similar talks or essays and would you like to try and edit or fan edit a video game trailer yourself one day?

osohista

Hi Jones! Just had a question about Easy Anime. I know it's been put on hiatus with a bunch of other stuff going on, but is there intent to start it back up again at some point? I have watched tons of anime and have a deep history with it so I would be happy to lend whatever skills I can offer to get this going again.

strawhatninja

Hey Brandon! Personal question here. I, like you, have a massive pet peeve about terrible drivers, and am personally praying for the day that people are taken out from behind the wheel and self-driving cars become the norm. While this idea excites me, others are understandably terrified of giving up control. So my question is, what is your opinion on this upcoming technology?

Michael Brigham

Just bookmarking the EZA YT page works pretty well too. :)

BeatenDownBrian

Hi Jones, Business question: I remember that the allies once watched the eza clips as a warm up for the Tuesday group stream. To me it felt nice seeing the allies react to the clips from last week's streams and it looked like a good ice breaker for the group stream. Do you think it would be a good idea to try and generally do this each Tuesday? L&amp;R Alex

Alex_AI

For those europeans (and possible other places but I'm dutch) who don't want to stay up all night for the press conferences it's very likely that resetera will have a spoiler free thread with links to the press conferences (including easy allies stream links). Bookmark this the day before and when you wake up the next day avoid all internet except for that bookmark en enjoy the streams. Staying up for me would mean I would be a wreck all week since I'm old~ish. Sony's press conference is at 3 am for me so I just took the next day off from work and use the spoiler free thread. Worked great for me the last 2 years.

I know the slated time for the podcast to go up would be Thursday morning for us, but in fairness to them they usually have it to us by 11pm Wednesday night. I think they're getting it up as fast as they can already already tbh.

BeatenDownBrian

Hi Jones! I have a more buisness-y question this week, or like suggestion for you to put on that takeaway list of yours. I live in the UK, as im sure do many of your fans, and I want to bring somthing to your attention that you may not know. The EZA podcast is advertised as being released 2 days early for patrons, and that early access is maybe 50% of the reason I signed up to be a Patron. However, as a UK viewer the timezone difference means that the podcast goes live early on thursday morning. This means that due to my work and I'm sure the engagements of other patrons, we dont get to view the podcast until thursday night, meaning that we only get it a day early. This isnt that huge of an issue and just somthing I thought I would bring to light. Just curious if it were possible to knock back the rollout of the podcast by even as small as 5 or so hours, which would mean it would cross into wednesday for the UK. Thanks as always, L&amp;R - Georgia

Agreed - the reactions with side cam (and the guys on the side having headphones on) felt the best

Hi Jones! I could be taking your tone of voice or sarcasm the wrong way from comments you've made in previous episodes, but if I am not, it seems like you may be becoming a bit annoyed with the amount of Cup of Jones questions you are getting. Perhaps it is time to time the fat, or set up some rules? Maybe start alternating business only and personal only episodes?

Basically there are demo stations set up right after some of the conferences. In some cases, those are the only chances to play certain games, and they're generally easier than trying to get to them at E3 itself. I'll be out at Xbox for the same reason. -Bloodworth

Easy Allies

Not working for me either

Brandon, why attending to the press conference and not being with the allies? what's the difference? are you greasing palms? is it more of a PR stuff? why one or another?

hrm... that's unusual. I hope it corrects itself soon. -Bloodworth

Good evening allies. Why is it 2 hours something and then 50 minute something and then the video say there is a problem. Something wrong? Thanks in advance

Not a question just a last minute comment for E3 hopefully y'all read and keep in mind :) After re-watching last year's E3 podcast I just wanted to repost my comment from the E3 suggestions post as I'm more sure than ever it's a vital part of what makes your E3 coverage great: Side cam on at all times. Especially during end of day impressions. Really brings the cozy vibes. If it's just 4 of you on the table it starts to feel too closed off and rigid, you know? Keep the discussions open and free flowing with everyone able to chime in if they want. The nightly impressions should feel like a group of friends talking about cool games they got to play, not journalists reporting on something because they have to. E3 is supposed to be fun! Keep it loose and have a great time this year allies! L&amp;R

Falcon

I just watched the last 2 hours (it only shows the last 2 hours when Jones just finished streaming and the video is over 2 hours long) and I am now trying to watch the first 30 minutes, but it doesn't work for me either (even though I just finished watching it). I think it's youtube putting up the full video, although it's taking a lot longer than normal. It will fix itself in a couple of hours probably.

MrMette

Is this video not working for anyone else?

It's not a bad idea, and I do something like that with the Twitch collections. Including old videos could take quite a while though. -Bloodworth

Easy Allies

Hello Jones. Next time you guys do some reorganizing of the Easy Allies Plays playlists would you consider adding separate playlists for each Ally? Ie. a playlist for Kyle streams, a playlist for Ben streams and so on. Right now it's somewhat hard to find streams that aren't part of a series of stream but just a one-off.

Olf Himself

same here, and the time sign exactly 2:00. maybe it's some youtube fuckup

Yea, getting the same thing here.

Hmmm...The final post is a bit abrupt at the beginning. Did we lose the opening from earlier for some reason?

Hey Mr. Jones! A super quick question for you this time inspired by your editorial: What frustrates you the most about the gaming industry? Is it the lack of professionalism from leakers as you touched on the last episode? Is it misleading marketing or bad business practices? What, above all else, really gets under your skin that you wish didn't happen or could be better? Thanks for taking my submission as always. Cheers! P.S. In response to your answer from my question last week, if you answer, regardless of length, then that's fine. It doesn't have to be in-depth and lengthy if your answer doesn't call for it.

JFYI: Detroit: Become Human is 11-hours long, so it can be considered for Easy Living: <a href="https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=31388" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=31388</a>

Mentioning having more reviewers for more games, does Jones plan to be the sole voice of reviews for easy allies? Could Amanda pull off some VO for review?

Hey Jones, you mentioned a person that commented on the improved cameras likely does not listen to the podcast, but I think you may have made an incorrect assumption. I know I often listen to the podcast in my car, and my first time seeing the new camera stuff was in a Cup of Jones episode. Not really a big deal, just thought I'd clarify. L&amp;R

Sucks....need audio to listen at work. By the time the audio comes out I'm already onto next week lol. This should be audio first. Don't have a real need to see you for this unless I'm lucky enough to watch live. I get so excited every time lol. Keep up the good work though Jones...I'm sure it was great!

ComboBreaker

Hey Jones I don't know much about Michael Damiani, except he killed it on Fiasconauts and loves Nintendo (?). Can you tells us what you love about Damiani?

Jones, you referenced my comment a couple weeks back regarding the possibility of EA doing something similar to Kinda Funny Games Daily, and perhaps doing it like three days a week instead of five. Care to discuss this? Apologies if I missed it. I think this type of show could be great to bring in new sponsors, cover stuff the weekly podcast is late to, and even give some hosting experience to Allies who normally don't get the chance. I also totally understand if this isn't possible until the studio but would love to see it happen. Love and respect!
