But instead of just going with the Friday the 13th movies, or horror movies in general, we're going to be talking about the movies that have had a profound impact on our lives, for better or worse, the films that scared us, scarred us, changed us, wrecked us.
Whether it's Peckinpah inflicting his bizarre mistrust upon us, Haneke teaching us we're wrong for enjoying his films, Jodorowsky doing whatever he does, Sam Neil for having that freaky burned up face on that damned space ship from hell, a cartoon deer getting shot, or a few desperate drug addicts doing everything they can to depress the hell out of us, films have an immense power to shape us.

This is for sure shaping up to be one of our more theoretical episodes, but fear not, we'll keep it light and fun while we talk about how Event Horizon made it so I couldn't sleep for six months lol.
