I think you could do the fun transitions a little better by using the green screen to bring in the game footage in some way, rather than just a hard cut. Maybe a closer shot panning in one direction or another where the game footage comes in as the number goes off screen.

Just a suggestion and others may be able to comment on it as well. Perhaps you could put the names of each ally as they introduce it as there may be viewers out there who may not know all 9 of you. As an example Don seeing as I’m sure there are people out there who might only watch/listen to reviews and podcasts would not know who Don is. Either way still super hype that Top 10s are back in action.

I loved how punchy this was. Some top 10s drag on - but this had great pacing!

Well done! I love how jolly this is to me. The number balloons are jolly. The Allies counting down are jolly. I also think it strikes the right balance of being professional but charming and unique to EZA. Maybe the background should be tweaked a bit, but I have no idea as to what it should. I am happy with it so far.

The video itself was pretty good (though maybe each entry should be teased a little more instead of being instantly revealed), but Brandon's VO is missing the warm, bassy, "professional studio" tone it had at GT. Is this something that demands expensive equipment, or can some knob turning bring it back?

I love the numbers. Hope you recorded each person with every number allowing for 10 alterations.

I love the balloons and the idea behind the transitions! It feels like such a unique touch on the presentation of the numbers. But I do kind of agree with the comments by David and Odin, it does feel a little bit...weird? I don't want to say cheap but as each number was presented I did progressively feel myself going...oh. To me specifically I think it has more to do with how you all are basically in the same position when presenting your numbers. Your actual postures may vary a little but that doesn't change how it feels a bit awkward and static. I feel it would have been nice to have more varied, dynamic transitions. Like possibly having people/the number enter or exit, different positioning, different focuses, or different angles. I really like the balloons and I like the solid backgrounds but I dunno just how the actual numbers are presented by you guys feels a bit weird. I'm not a pro and I honestly have no idea how to say what I'm trying to say :p

Can someone please make a gif of Ben's "number nine".

GT Top 10’s were my favorite because they were more concise, deliberate, and professional than other Top 10’s (like Screwattack’s, for example). I liked that you guys put so much effort and took so seriously something that is completely arbitrary and silly. Your top 10’s felt, for a lack of a better word, definitive. I think the new way of presenting the numbers takes away from this feeling. It doesn’t mesh well with Brandon’s VO and the general tone of the video. If you do stick with the new way then I’d suggest altering the format slightly to make the transitions feel less abrupt. Maybe make the number presenting clip slightly longer or have some sort of transition graphic and sound in between the clips and the rest of the video. Having a different ally do the VO for each entry so that it matches the number presenting clip (or whoever wrote the script for that specific entry) could be nice as well.

I guess I'll have to be the first one to write a criticism :/ Sorry but it looks really weird and cheap, specially after the production values from your E3 coverage. The clips being so far away and static, with a solic color as background make it super jarring when you change to them. Although we fans get a kick out of it (at least the first time) I don't think new viewers will enjoy them. I like the balloons, but maybe try using the chroma in a different way, with some more interesting and dynamic backgrounds, or different camerawork? I don't know. PS: At least re-record number 5, Brad looking at the camera and staying there for half a second too long it's super weird hahaha
