Trailer Jones - Super Smash Bros, Hitman 2, and PUBG
Added 2018-11-13 19:27:08 +0000 UTCWhereas Kyle gets frustrated when big news drops and we sometimes can’t cover it for a full week until the next podcast, I get burnt on trailer releases when we record an episode of Trailer Jones and I don’t have the time to get it out to you until way cooler trailers for each of these franchises have dropped. Obviously I want to talk about the recent SFX-only Smash trailer, and discuss other fun songs that might work with it, but we’ve scored that franchise to death. Not to mention the new Detective Pikachu trailer. I’m happy I got Huber to talk about the value of adding one of his favorite actors to one of his favorite games, and it’s always fun to try and make sense of announcements that didn’t hit the mark, like Joker/Harley in PUBG. Hopefully, in the future, we can deliver these episodes on a more timely basis, but until that magical day comes, enjoy the debate!

2018-11-14 09:39:22 +0000 UTCSo I'm not a big fan on taking trailers too seriously, but I think Jones has brought up some good thoughts with the crew in all episodes, so I think this is my time to contribute. World of Light: Smash trailer is awesome, but it honestly did not told me anything about the adventure mode. I'm a Smash 3ds player and that only reminds the weird adventure mode that version of Smash had. However I'm feeling positive vibes because (maybe) the game will let me unlock the characters in this World of Light mode? That's a 8.5 for me. Hitman 2: So I kinda liked the video as a short film, but Live Action trailers are always misleading. The title of the video says "Hitman 2 - Official Live-Action Trailer". I'm expecting a complete recap of what exactly you're doing on Hitman 2 for a person who doesn't know anything about it. If nobody knows about Sean Bean or Hitman (which I know a bunch of people don't) you simply get the idea that you shoot and melee enemies, instead of telling the audience it is a stealth game of possibilities. Both completely different genres. That's me judging from my standpoint who like to pick the best trailer that sumarize the game. Oh no, i overthought this :(. Anyways, 6.5 for me. Not to be disrespectful, love the work you guys do and your thinking about it. L&R Notes: no thoughs on PUBG trailer :/...

A popular theory is that Shulk sees its loss is inevitable and warns just Kirby to escape with the hope that he'll save them all and that camera angle is Kirby's POV.
