Fun followup facts on 'Dragon Buster'.
Apparently its the first to do several things. Not only the double jump but its credited in numerous places as the first to have a health bar, and the first to have a world map.

Great show Allies. A few tips I was pointing out while listening :).
1. Sekiro is way different than Dark Souls. It reminds me their work on Otogi and specially Tenchu.
2. Yes, time is valuable, more than money. Invest time wisely, great advise for early parents and procatinators.
3. Lol that game of guessing game features was quite tough, I don't even know if those dates are accurate. Based on what? Who knows? I'm confused man.

As a father of a 2 and 4 year old, these are amazing tips!! Funny enough, I am 93 hours into Persona 5.
The one thing I would add? Get a Switch (RIP Vita :'( ). I game during lunch at work and can chip away surprisingly quickly. I just knocked out Hollow Knight.

Also not a correction or anything... just an observation.. but I remember Chrono Trigger's NEW GAME + blowing people's fucking minds. Feels like it was mentioned in magazines like crazy and was super helpful for getting all those multiple endings.

RE: The parenting comment.
I'm a new father. I have a 4 week old daughter, and while these first few weeks have been stressful, I still managed to casually finish Hollow Knight with 103% completion and I'm currently partway through both Dead Cells and Octopath Traveller. I must say, prior to my newborn, the Switch was 90% of the time docked. Now it's 90% handheld. It's clutch that I could settle my daughter at 3am while also having access to a console on my bedside table.
I'm managing to catch up on all my podcasts recently as well, so thankfully I still have time to be a patron of Easy Allies. Gaming is totally doable as a parent (gaming, podcasts and the rest of it).
Love and respect.

I'm so skeptical of Windjammers 2. Can DotEmu, who haven't made an original game before (they only published Dragon's Trap), make a sequel to a beloved arcade game that adds more to it and is not just Windjammers with a few new character sprites?

Corrections (sort of): Although ranking the significance is very subjective, I want to talk numbers and 'significance' regarding Settlers and WIndjammers. From what I know, Settlers is very popular in Europe and according to official numbers from Ubisoft (<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20140721012750/http://www.ubisoftgroup.com/en-us/about_ubisoft/facts_and_figures.aspx)," rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://web.archive.org/web/20140721012750/http://www.ubisoftgroup.com/en-us/about_ubisoft/facts_and_figures.aspx),</a> Settlers is one of their best selling franchises, better than Watchdogs or the Anno series. Settlers is even found in the list of Best Selling Franchises of All Time on Wikipedia. Windjammers on the other hand, although popular at this very moment, received mediocre reviews back in the day and for this 'franchise' there are no sales numbers found. Not that sales mean more significance, but I wanted to give Settlers credits where credits are due.

Apology and counterpoint:
I will defer to Damiani that Zelda 2 would fit my criteria for new game plus and as such would predate chrono trigger for the possible first game to have that feature. Zelda 2 wasn't coming up in my research so I assumed that any second quest feature in Zelda 2 worked like in Zelda 1, so for that I apologize.
For Sinistar I would argue that it should still qualify for first voice acting over Wolfenstein. While Wolfenstein has digitized voices, there is no person attached to those lines that I could find, meaning the speech could be synthetic. For Sinistar however, it is known who recorded the lines, Radio personality John Doremus. You can hear his lines from the game here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-XEINagmaU" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-XEINagmaU</a>
Either way thank you so much for playing my dumb game, it made my day!

Correction; Using Incognito mode after a search result means nothing because even in incognito mode, google still sees the cookies you generated before using it. Hence almost the same results.

Kyle isn't the word you're looking for "capital"? As in, Trump can't pass law X because he has no political capital.. or the Commandos series has enough capital for a new sequel.

Recently I finally got around to buy a computer which was able to even play video games again. First thing I did was to try find a settlers game. Growing up in Germany, if someone played video games, it almost was definitely a settlers game. Especially Settlers 2 (die Siedler 2). I guess this was before WoW or LoL. I was surprised not to find a settlers game on steam. So I went for Civ6, which I haven’t played any game of yet. I wonder if these type of strategy games are generally more popular in Europe, where as Americans tend more to play XCom type of games?

The significance ranking really illustrates nicely, or in fact sadly, how hard it has been for foreign games to get attention in the US. The Settlers and Desperados are hugely popular in parts of Europe and for a lot of my fellow Germans they would probably be on top of the list, although objectively you can‘t ignore LiS2 and Man of Medan. Windjammers though, as good as the game is, is a classic case of „history being written by the winners“ or in this case by the biggest body of media outlets.

No love for Settlers, it made me appreciate how rare for EZA to miss the boat on a franchise. I revisited HOK last week, it held up for me.
