Spoiler Mode - Marvel’s Spider-Man

**spoiler** Venom is referenced, albeit slyly. Once, in Peter's stained response to Yuri when she asks if he has a "black and white" suit. I think there's another line referencing Venom when he's chasing down the look alike.

SPOILERS I got my platinum and now watched this. Great to hear some opinions like this. One of the villains you forgot was Screwball. And I really think we'll get into Daily Bugle in the sequel, see JJJ and Robbie and all. Eddie Brock as well that way. Finally found out about Kyle's Spidey and Marvel knowledge: it's Wikipedia. I've been trying to puzzle out that. I mean he doesn't read the comics, so is his Spidey info solely based on games and movies or what? But no, this was the deal. That's crazy that you guys didn't got that secret costume from the 50 secret photos. I guess it was patched in only later, after the launch.

I'm still not super interested (probably will check it out when it's on sale), but I gotta know - are there any references to Turn Off the Dark? The talk about the funny Halloween party with bad villain costumes seems like a perfect chance to feature those stupid costumes from the musical.

Fun analytical video guys ! I got frustrated a whole bunch about some nitpicks (for example; Pete almost always starts at 15); but this game is so amazing, it just fills my heart with joy to hear you guys talk about it. I'm a graphic designer, so i do a lot of logo sketching; i LOVED the whiteboard logo design notes :D About the villains being jsut tugs; i loved it that they did not wast my time for the 10.000th time with their origins etc. Why can't you do Venom without Carnage ? I feel if Venom is in the game; he needs his time; his spotlight; The same goes for Carnage. They both have symbiots, but thats the only thing they have in common i feel.

I think the idea is the maximise exposure. If they release spoiler mode too early (before most people have finished it), then the video will trend or appear on the recommended list before people are ready to click on it. If they wait a little, they might be able to get this video better exposure. Releasing the video immediately isn't a good idea. Sure you can come back to this video, but most people won't go through old videos.

**Spoilers** My biggest complaint with the game is that I felt that the death at the end was way too contrived. I guess we had to "pay" for the good ending between Peter and MJ by having something else tragic happen instead. Considering in the comic books the Marvel editors retconned MJ and Peter's whole married life together in order to avoid May dying I supose I should consider us lucky we "just" lost May. It was really awesome to have such a loveable MJ though. (Thanks to the fabulous Laura Bailey.) I also felt the villains actions didn't make much sense. I much prefer villains who have some moral ambiguity; Mr. Negative and Doc Ock were SO murderously evil it didn't ring true emotionally. They cause way too many innocent deaths with no good motivation. If they hated Norman so much why not just kill him? Why kill dozens of innocent New Yorkers just to get Norman fired? Then Ock ended up attempting to murder Norman anyway by dropping him off the building!!! Just didn't feel right. Hopefully they will work on the story a bit in the sequel. (Did anywone else get the sense that Norman wasn't afraid of Octto dropping him? I suspected he knew he would survive because he had already taken the Goblin syrum.) I'm also a bit worried where they are going to take the Harry story. I really didn't care for the Ultimate Universe version of Venom and it looks like they are going to do a similar thing here with Harry. I would prefer that he be Carnage instead of Venom. This way we could have Norman use some genetic material from the Venom symbiote he found in an asteroid and has locked away somewhere else. Then Peter could use the Venom symbiote to help take down Harry/Carnage, and then later he has to get the black suit off of him and it eventually finds its way to Eddie Brock. I suspect they won't do something as cool as this and we will end up with Harry just being Venom without the white spider symbol - just like the movie that is coming out soon.

*Spoilers* I just finished the game today and immediately had to sit down and watch this. As it is, it's looking like it'll end up as my first platinum, because I'm absolutely going to do everything possible. Something I am surprised you didn't bring up here was the side mission where Spidey legit stops a GTA IV mission, complete with characters named Niko and his nephew Roman. That was hilarious to me. Easily one of my new favorite games, everything about it was a dream to play. As for the sequel, the only thing I have on my wish list is the chance to play as Spider-Gwen. Just let me swing around the city as Gwen, please and thanks. I also bought the season pass because I just want more from this game. I don't want to put it down.

This might be only in the Japanese version but when you use the hologram power they reference the Japanese tokusatsu Spiderman from hell.

*Spoilers* Just finished Spoiler Mode immediately after beating the game. The tail end definitely had the bomb shells. Unlike the Arkham games where all the villains are established and Batman acknowledges everyone since he's a veteran. It was nice to see a mix of already put away villains that I didn't really need much focus on and the origin of others that you get to see them slowly slip into madness. A nice balance. In reference to the part in Spoiler Mode where you talk about Otto saying it's Peter at the end, I read it as more of a gut punch to Peter that Otto knew but was still relentlessly fighting him. Also on a funny side note, when I was playing the Miles mission as he sneaks by Sable guards to FEAST, it freaked me out cause all the civilians were generic dummy models floating (no face, like crash dummies but with denim texture)

They didnt receive a code for Octopath, but they got Spiderman a week early (Kyle and Jones). Octopath takes 80 hours to beat, where Spidey is 20+ I think? I know, I am salty too LnR4L

I don't understand why they should hold off the spoiler mode, I finished the game and I'm not a reviewer. If you take your time this video is still here for you. The world doesn't revolve around your schedule.

Loved this game just finished it tonight! I just think this was such a fun, heartwarming Spider-Man tale i cant wait for a sequel! Great video!

I know this will be an unpopular opinion. But as much as i do think this game is good... i dont think its as GREAT and amazing people are saying it is. its a BIT overhyped in my opinion... it does NOT stand on the levels of detail the Arkham games are on. The side missions are just as mediocre as old spiderman games, the world doesnt feel like anything special, especially like Arkham city does. Yes its a good game, its smooth, the cutscenes are good. But honestly, its not leaps and bounds above older spiderman games. The swinging isnt anything new, the side missions and collectables arnt anything special. It truly just feels like a slight step forward from previous titles. I personally wouldnt put it on Arkham levels of comicbook games. 7.9

Love this. Honestly looking forward to any spoiler mode discussion when Kyle and Brandon gets to talk about something that they both really really like. Also, I would like to add that I do not agree with suggestions to delay posting your content because of spoilers. There are people like myself who look forward to your content regardless of spoilers and are quite happy to have early access to them. It has been said many many times, there are many ways to avoid spoilers if one really really wants to.

I would have liked if you had recorded this now when it is fresh in your minds and just released to the public in a week or two. 2 days is barely any time for normal people to finish this game barring say reviewers. Not complaining, plan to bookmark this and check back in some time. L&R

Bloody hell! How come we have to wait weeks for a spoiler mode on the jrpg Octopath Traveler but get a Spider-Man one a day after launch?! Easy Allies western developer biased coming in to play once again... In all seriousness though, I just sat down to play this an hour or so ago and think it's great so far. Probably need to concentrate more on crimes than collecting backpacks though. Look forward to watching this when I am done

Well you can always add bookmark or something. It's definitely better to talk about the game and release spoiler mode when it's fresh in everybody's mind.

Personally what I'd really like to see in the sequel is an Iron Man game. Spidey gets games all the time, Iron Man has yet to get a good one :(

imo too early the launch this. I think you need to take into account that Europe launch was yesterday and not Tuesday. So when I am done with the game I will probably have forgotten about this video and moved on to your other content. just something to take into consideration
