Which makes me very sad. I wish Square would just say so though.

Power of hardware might not be very different BUT Xbox is starting to support things like adaptive refreshrate and other things. I have been using adaptive refreshrate on pc and it is great. Xbox is looking good for next Gen.

That's a pretty enormous crystal ball prediction Kyle that Xbox could never overtake Playstation again. Every new generation presents new variables and it's never going to be limited to just one factor like exclusives. Who could've predicted that the phenomenon of the Wii would create the motion control craze that dominated the industry for a decade, the next New Thing could be right around the corner that instantly changes the landscape.

Just got Thousand Year Door for my friends Gamecube that he's letting me borrow. Popped it in and after ten minutes the Gamecube died. Too bad Nintendo doesn't put old games on newer systems.

I'm with Kyle - there is something different about Directs now that Iwata is gone. He had a warmth and a genuine sincerity that hasn't been replicated. The Smash direct was good because Sakurai has such a similar character. I do think they are still struggling to find the next face of Nintendo, and they sort of just keep jumping around between multiple people to see what works. Koizumi is certainly great, but it remains to be seen if he actually wants to be the face of the company going forward.

Love you guys! Listening to you talk about a national game library, although its not a national institution(though it should be), you really should look at the efforts of archive.org they have been archiving old PC game, and most of them can be played through an online emulator on there site. My understanding is they are also doing console games as well, but are limited to what they can have publicly accessible for legal reasons.

Good vibes! On the point about Sony not opening up for crossplay, i can see why. Because i would buy a XB1X directly for RDR2 if they opened it up, but now i will go for the Pro so i can play online with my friends on psn
