There's been a Japanese game resurgence recently that almost every Japanese publisher has found success in. I feel that Vancouver and Dead Rising were just no longer needed in the minds of the Japanese branch. It's terrible that they lost their jobs though and I hope they land on their feet.

2018-09-20 04:28:48 +0000 UTCI sincerely don't understand why the allies are equating Nintendo teasing Animal Crossing Switch and releasing a reveal trailer for Luigi's Mansion 3 for both games slated to release in 2019, only one year later, to other companies teasing a game 3-5 years before release. That's not remotely the same thing, and since when was only a year too early to announce your game ahead of time? That's like the sweet spot to build hype before release. Also, many of the Animal Crossing team up until recently has been busy working on Splatoon 2, which combined with Animal Crossing already taking a long time to make explains the wait.

It has been in the top 20 of the NPDs for 59 out of those 60 months (Oct 2014 it was #21). Piscatella brought this up in his video recap, but since it seems most people don't watch those I thought it was worth bringing up.

2018-09-20 01:35:19 +0000 UTCCorrection of sorts from around 36:00: from my experience, you totally have to get some Gold medal scores in the Taskmaster challenges for the Spider-Man platinum, just not all of them. From memory, I skipped about four or five that I was getting too annoyed with and still racked up enough Tokens to get all the suits. I have every confidence that Mat Piscatella can do the same!
