Red Dead Redemption 2 - Hands-On Preview
Added 2018-09-20 14:03:23 +0000 UTCIt was tough to keep this trip a secret, but it turns out I picked the perfect day to finally join Jared for Red Dead Radio. Not only do we have the newly announced Red Dead Online to speculate about, both of us spent a couple of hours looking at, and eventually playing, pieces of the full game. I realize that I am especially enthusiastic about RDR2 compared to other releases in 2018, but I was completely overwhelmed by how much this sequel has improved over the already-exceptional Red Dead Redemption.
There are so many reasons why, so I tried to cram as many points into this preview and divided it into three sections that get progressively more spoilery, if you want to save any secrets for launch. I think there is still plenty of stuff to discover, and I cannot wait to saddle up with the game when it arrives for review.
