2018-10-05 18:20:28 +0000 UTCI'm glad Maniac wasn't as heavy as Black Mirror. Sometimes Black Mirror can be too much for me and I was glad I could just have a pleasant time watching Maniac. I liked that it had a strong message, dreamlike sequences, and a fairytale ending.

I bet there is some algorithm, maybe the Witcher is their way of adding a game of thrones like show and the dragon prince fills that avatar like show. At least in their eyes.

I share a lot of your views: the overall world was very interesting, the characters were fascinating and very strongly portrayed (great job from Stone & Hill), and A and B scenarios hit me the most, really captivating. The things became pretty weird, though, in the C part, like a bit too weird, and the story didn't have a strong ending. I still liked the whole package quite a lot. And Azumi's legs deserve a special shout-out. :) Great character otherwise as well.

Maniac is absolutely brilliant, and while I respect different opinions I have to pull the childish "fingers in ears shouting la-la-la" because I am so in love with this show. Sorry dudes.
