The last time you guys were talking about streaming game services you also glossed over what Geforce Now is already been doing for almost a year. I would have liked it if you guys would at least acknowledge it as a separate streaming service. And I'm not talking about Nvidia shield, where I believe last time you guys sorta put them together. I've been playing WoW and Divinity original sin 2 on it without any noticeable delay. Which I get are games where latency is less noticeable. But even playing Overwatch with it isn't a bad experience and offers me a solution for only having a Mac. Love and Respect, Jurre.

Kyle didn't know cyclops visor was ruby quartz? What an idiot #loveandDISrespect

I've read so many people sticking up for Alpha Protocol that I really should give it a go. I was put off by what people said at the time (and by my issues with KOTOR 2), but I suspect there's something really interesting there.

Samuel Cardwell

Alpha Protocol was one of my worst disappointments with a game. Complete mess of a game. But other than that all my experience with their games has been excellent. New Vegas is by far the best modern Fallout imo. I’m really not expecting Obsidian to release the next Witcher 3, one of the reasons why MS bought them is because they make excellent games that are not too expensive. Same with Ninja Theory, I think.

Rui Fidalgo

I think I have to submit a character too... ^^

Think that one was all Ubisoft (SF)

Ultimate touche....I love it

Said it once and I'll say it a thousand times more, Ben Moore is a treasure of games journalism.

Loved your puns. Felt like they all could have been real.

Tanner Methven

CORRECTION: Robert Kirkman is the writer and co-creator (with artist Tony Moore) of the Walking Dead comics.

David Sobiegraj

There a debate between it being a more powerful version of the switch or not. I think though with next gen on the horizon it’d probably have to be better so it can continue receiving multi platform games.

Soul

Obsidian also did South Park The Fractured But Whole didnt they?

My phone screen is bigger than the Nintendo switch screen.

Joey and Cait

It's a divisive topic and while I am one of those fans I think it would please everyone if they would just split the two up to two different games and give them some real space. Explore the history in one series and the templar/assassin story in the modern times in another. The current implementation throws an even worse version at those who hate it and doesn't give enough to those who care like me.

Recruit me is great

And just on the AC Odyssey topic : nobody but a small part of the hardcore fanbase cares about the Animus anymore. Ubisoft knows their story has become nonsensical with all the present-day stuff. Like Kyle said, the Animus doesn't mean anything anymore and just drags the games instead of enhancing the story.

"I'll stream a movie, I'll stream a series, the video quality is bad". Wait Kyle, you just have bad internet. I got Netflix on the 4K subscription and I assure you with a good bandwidth, those 4K-made series/movies look as good as a blu-ray. Feels like you're mistaking the bad internet network all over the US and the possible quality of a game streaming platform. But I'll add that PS Now, even with the greatest internet bandwidth, is still a really bad game streaming platform. (tried it myself for 2 days) It also won't "always be worse" than whatever console you can buy, because imagine you don't have the money for a 600 bucks console ? If you have the bandwidth, you can have better graphics than those of your console... Theres already PC game streaming from companies who are streaming with an evoluting platform (like they buy the latest and best hardware, and you use it remotely, by streaming your game)

Térence Caron

Just to expand on this ever so articulate criticism, I'd like to see Kyle explore more RPG elements or something. Maybe do a "boss showdown" at the end of the year where he rolls to see which Allies and which new party members live against the party members who were rejected and lived.

Lee

I love Recruit Me.

Dominíc Brown

Please ditch the recruit me segment, it surrrx.....

So disappointed Jones said "trains planes and .. cars" not automobiles

Matthew Schornig

Phone cases in my store average $50, while a certain case manufacturer makes a $90 case. Nintendo will definitely release this case for $80 and still sell very well.

Concerning Game Boy classics. Can't forget that Miamoto's lost gem puzzler. Mole Mania

Correction: There was a streaming platform almost 10 years ago. It was called OnLive and launched in 2010 and later was sold to Sony and shutdown in 2015.

Correction (Kinda):People are already playing shooters on planes and getting annoyed at flight attendants. On a flight three years ago to Charleston, SC, an adult man was playing an fps on his Ipad without headphones. After the attendant told him to turn it down, he did for about five minutes, before turning his volume back up

Tyler Gardner

That ending bit with the romance options was hilarious.

Should team up with MattChat or LGR to get more coverage on PC games.

Hey guys, minor correction or explanation regarding that Nintendo patent stuff. It's not actually a patent, yet, it's just a published application. The dates on the front say it was filed in March, and the application was published in September (and its based off a Japanese application that was filed last March). You can look up the status of the application in a site called public PAIR (<a href="https://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair)</a> and plug in the application number from the case, in this case 15/923,291. In this case it looks like it hasn't been examined yet, so who knows if it'll go anywhere. It's pretty common that the case isn't examined before its published, but it depends on the backlogs in each technology etc. That's not to say it won't be a product they sell, even one they sell soon, just that they don't yet know what scope they can claim as theirs in terms of patent rights. I assume they wouldn't sell this kind of thing until they have a patent secured but I really have no idea how those kind of decisions get made (maybe Hoeg has some thoughts there if he ever touches IP stuff). (I'm a patent examiner, although I don't work on anything remotely relevant to video game technology).

Thanks so much for using my mario party game. Basically I went through a list of game names and picked the funniest name, good or bad, watched a video of it being played so I could describe it and then tried to make up equally weird names myself. It was very fun to write. I also did an entire quiz using different a different set of mini-games in the opposite manner. In that quiz I give the game name and then describe 3 different mini-games with one being real and 2 being made up. I may submit sometime later.

Enjoyed the PS Now discussion! Before God Of War came out this year I wanted to play through the series, and luckily the PS3 remasters of 1, 2 and the PSP games were there to play. Aside from maybe 2 hiccups during my play-through of all of them, the connection and feel felt flawless. Everyone has different experiences I guess.
