Unfortunately I am not sure that the panel has heard of this game. Im like 25 hours into and love it. I dont even play rpg's that much and I enjoy everything about it. From the pixel art style, to level/puzzle design and the story. The game has this Meta feeling to it. Love it.

I am feeling bothered enough by people in this whole situation to comment..but..yeah... Shout out to Alexander Zyryanov, Right on man, people need to relax. Yeah the voting could be better, but it also does not really have to be, as it is really not that big of inconvenience- (it's not like were Hideo Kojima running "Bank" all day everyday, or this is the final judgement of all video game existence in 2018 were preparing for). Furthermore, the Allies are be being nice by including our opinion in the spotlight anyway. Everything will be fine, trust the guys, and have fun before it's gone. (Because that's kind of the point.)

Each "load more" makes the browser slow down more, plus it's monotonous, plus commenting/liking has weird bugs. I don't blame people for being turned off by it.

I don't understand people who complain about voting here. Clicking on “Load more comment” takes 30-45 seconds (and you don’t even need to move your mouse) and then you can press Ctrl+F to find the game you want to vote for (another 5-15 seconds per game). Comparing to how much time Allies spend daily to produce entertainment for us, I think we can spend extra 2 minutes once a year instead of demanding to create a new voting system for us. If you truly want to make system better, write to the Patreon. It’s their site after all.

If I may jump on the suggestion bandwagon, it may be possible to send votes to the Easy Allies account via private message on Patreon, then manually cross check the names against a master list of EZA patrons, if one exists. It would be FAR more work for Kyle, having to tally each vote individually, and it would clog their inbox for a few days, but it would be easier for the voters.

Just wanted to chime in saying Google Forms might have worked better for this, you can set it to 1 response only by them signing into their google account. Obviously if they have more than one google account they could cheat the system and vote more than once but it could be a good way to get a list of the most nominated community games and then make that into a patreon poll.

To maybe relax the situation to some degree, a reminder: This messy comment section is not about voting for your GOTY. It is about narrowing down what you will be able to vote for as your GOTY at a future point in time. So if you want to give your vote to one of the big ones (God of War, Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2), than it doesn't mean that your vote is lost, if you can't find that title in the comments, as long as you are sure that it is definitely popular enough to make it into the next round. And that next round is where you actually vote, where your vote counts for GOTY, where not being able to vote would mean losing your voice. Of course, if you want to get a smaller title like Overcooked 2 into the final selection, you have to swallow the bitter pill and search all comments for it. Best way to do it: 1. Click on "Load more comments" until all comments are displayed. 2. press CTRL + F to open the search functionality of your browser. 3. Type enough of the game's title to find your game, pick the oldest comment and vote.

Personal GOTYs, Predictions (of any kind), and soliciting feedback are easily the posts that get overwhelmed the fastest. Saw the title post and guessed there would be 100 responses (not counting replies to said comments) and saw 157 in 40 minutes. POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR THE FUTURE: Creating a google doc/link that only Patrons can access in a post. Patrons leave one or two games (preferably two following this current round format and giving other games a chance to place) and after a tally, the top 10 have been collected and ordered. This way, comments are not overwhelming, everyone can get the one they love and one they want to see (however likely/unlikely) and people don't have to be on the look out for repeats.
