2019-02-01 01:42:45 +0000 UTC(About the Epic Store) In Brazil all games in the Epic Store are priced in dollars, in contrast with stores like Steam and GOG that are priced in our local currency. As an example: Metro was priced at roughly 25 dollars on Steam when the pre-orders went live. In the Epic Store the game is priced at 40 US dollars. All games that I compared are cheaper on on the other stores, some with big disparities like Donut County, at about half the price on Steam. The change really sucks for us even more than to US players, since gaming has always been such an expensive hobby in Brazil, after all we are the country that had the PS4 launch at about a thousand dollars.

2019-01-31 03:43:27 +0000 UTCCorrection, It would be 35% on steam since unreal takes 5% for the engine when you publish to steam and Metro is built on unreal, hope that makes sense. They wave the engine fee when you publish on Epic games store.
