Trailer Jones - Detective Pikachu, K/DA Pop/Stars, and FF XIV Shadowbringers

I might record something (hopefully soon) after The Game Awards, or do a year end wrap-up of 2018 by myself. We’ll see how the month goes. This felt like the perfect panel for the trailers we scored. I was eager to hear Kyle go through the ups and downs of our first peek at Detective Pikachu, and Damiani was around to inform us what’s special about the reveal of Final Fantasy XIV’s newest expansion. Then we all do our best to sing the praises of the latest League of Legends music video, an explosion of color called Pop/Stars.

Surprisingly, the only reference I know of Storm Bringer is from the King Of Fighters character who I get my namesake from, Heidern. His special command grab that he has had since KOF94 and in 95, 98, 2k1, and 14, is called storm bringer. Half circle back + punch will get a command grab that sucks the life out of the enemy and give a small percent back to Heidern. I am sure you guys are probably thinking of a different reference but I had to chime in on this since its so close to home. Great Trailer Jones, it helped me realize I can appreciate things that I am not personally excited for.

Stormbringer is the name of a sword used by Micheal Moorcock's Elric. Thancred (the Dante guy for you) is one of the few NPC's that has changed jobs and they're showing the new job with the gunblade.
