Sometimes I think it's a race to the bottom to who can pull apart a commercial movie the most. I also liked Wrecking Ralph 2. if anything the only thing I agree is that the name is confused. Like they couldn't commit to a numbered sequel or something, Wifi Ralph or Ralph breaks the internet sounds like a pilot for a TV series.

I didnt watch Wreck it Ralph 2 right way for the same reason as Damiani, as I was just not interested. I saw it on Christmas day and WOW that movie is absolutely incredible! That movie pulled on my heart strings way more than into the spider-verse, even though i do like spider-verse better overall.

Hate to be "that guy" that Damiani was talking about when ranking you favourite superhero movies. However, did you maybe forget about The Incredibles?

Also - and I'm not complaining because it's par for the course with any spoiler-cast - but it's remarkable that you didn't discuss the non-Prowler villains at greater length, i.e. Kingpin, Doc Ock and Scorpion. Any stray thoughts on those here or elsewhere would be cool.

Self-correction: the last trailer played a Jake Johnson line over Peter A. Parker footage, but others just straight up had Chris Pine in them. Still basically hiding Pine in plain sight for the sake of the twist.

The difference between Penni Parker in the movie and comic is pretty dramatic. In the comic, she is basically Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion and in this movie they turned her into D.VA from Overwatch. Great movie though.

the question at 00:12:00 , i completely disagree with the person asking the question... I ABSOLUTELY felt the connection between Miles and Aaron. Miles clearly was closer to his uncle than to his own father. Their relationship was very clear for the audience. and his death definitely left an impact on me and the audience. This scene left me in tears. it was done beautifully.
