Box Peek December Update

Since I’m on vacation still (last night, coming back soon) this one will be super breezy.
PRODUCTION STUFF
Between the Game Awards and winter holidays I frankly didn’t make much Box Peek progress in December. I did manage to take some sheets home and get a big monotonous chunk of the art done. (I don’t mean that in a negative way. For the most part doing the art is never monotonous, but Ep 6 has one of those secretly complicated parts where I think “Dang now I have to make all that”) Fortunately, January will allow for a more rigorous Box Peek schedule.
BEHIND-THE-SCENES THOUGHTS
Not much to add here this month. I’m just glad I got five episodes out in 2018. I would have loved to do more in less time, but it’s still an achievement for me, small as it is. I’m glad that people like it and I’m glad I like it, and it will make the sludgy months ahead a little less sludgy than the last twelve months.

Kyle...you created something which is clever and charming. My daughter loves Box Peek. So much so that she and her friends play it at school and play it in class with hand signals (it's very convoluted) . My daughter is planning to have a Box Peek tournament with her friends during her birthday party in May. (They're all 13 years old) . What you created makes people happy and inspires them.

Box Peek is legitimately fucking great regardless of episode count. After enjoying Box Peek so much, I stumbled across The Final Bosman and have been watching them all from the beginning for the first time. I’m bummed that I missed them while they were fresh because I honestly think it’s my favorite gaming-centric show ever, though I just watched my first Last Lavelle and he seems poised to overtake you. So, despite the episodes mostly being topical, I thought that you’d appreciate that it still holds up really well to at least one person. Looking forward to everything else made by you and the other Allies in 2019! Thanks for making good stuff. I really enjoy it.
