Cup of Jones - January 3, 2019

It's all happening. GOTYs, Hall of Greats, 2019 predictions, my 40th birthday, THE STUDIO. We're moving fast from talking about all of this to actually scheduling it, and while we won't have the final studio schedule until construction is completed later this month, the train has left the station in terms of picking what we want and buying A LOT of it already. Excited to share some updates with you. Thank you for the kind words and light load of comments over the break.

Cup of Jones - January 3, 2019

Comments

Hey Sergey! I create the overlays for group streams and figured I'd give some insight into my design process: because I'm not with the allies, I have to make layouts that are standardized so that they are universal for all games and simple to set up. Damiani just has to swap out a PNG and he's ready to stream. Every game has a different HUD, and so under what you're proposing that would mean figuring out the placement of elements for every single game. Then you have other factors like sponsors, and the webcam itself. It's important to see all 9 allies, so the webcam has to take up space. So it's all a big puzzle at the end of the day. As Jones answered, if it was one ally playing one game over a long period of time, then of course you can optimize the layout. The way I have to see it though is one design that could fit every possible game. Hopefully that gives you a bit more insight. I get where you are coming from, but that's the kind of thing I'd only be able to do if I was in LA working with the Allies in person - instead I'm some dude in Montreal working from his studio, haha. Great question though! In the near future I'm going to try and redesign things so that they are more flexible while also being simple to use, so maybe I'll create a "fullscreen" overlay for games that suit it.

Howdy Jones! Long time listener, first time contributor here. I recently got promoted, and with that came the opportunity to engage more with your content - finally, I have time in my schedule to listen to the likes of Frametrap, Friend Code, Cup of Jones, as well as the usual podcast. Even daunting multi-hour line productions like the 2019 Predictions are all easily accessible while I'm out and about on the road. I suppose this is a thank you of sorts firstly - moving from a predominately planted role with much companionship into one a little less so and very isolated, it's nice to be able to sit back and listen to the jollyness of the Allies. This leads to my question - are you ever worried about producing TOO much content? It can be a little daunting as a new Patreon to see that amount of content posted, FOMO taking grip. It took a good amount of convincing of my friend to get her invested, and thankfully she has. Are there any thoughts on how to tackle this double edged problem? A good problem mind you, too much content is never enough! Chris, Australia

Chaeotic

Just a quick suggestion for the studio that popped into my head listening to the podcast: Since you guys love to make bets, often so many that they get forgotten about, how about you have a white board in the studio specifically dedicated to bets to keep track of them and keep everyone honest.

Hi Brandon – I have an odd question. Have you ever thought about guerrilla marketing with EZA? This can help you get the most exposure for your business at the minimum amount of expense. I have some examples that that you can either use or be inspired by. I spent a lot of time researching this topic and I have some examples that fit EZA’s style. Example: Dropping a cryptic video with a countdown leading to an amazing announcement. A huge element of a good marketing strategy is the element of surprise and wonder. Example 2: Unusual collaborations, such as a crossover with another gaming channel. Instead of your standard guest appearance, this collaboration can be more creative and you can make it an event. Putting the spotlight on both channels can create a buzz not normally done through only a guest appearance. Example 3: Create a new Twitter profile that mysteriously begins posting to all Official Easy Allies comments. You retweet this new profile through your official one, but no one acknowledges its existence. The point is to create a sense of mystery and have people more engaged/thinking about your brand. This one is a bit more out there, but that is the point of guerrilla marketing – to create more hype behind your business! Do you see any potential with some of these examples & will you find inspiration for others? L&R – Christian

Now that the movie has been out for a bit, I'm curious what you thought of Mary Poppins Returns. I know that you had numerous issues when it was first announced. I was personally very underwhelmed by a movie that is the direct sequel to what many, including myself, consider to be Walts magnum opus. The music in particular left me with a general feeling of "really, that was the best you could do?"

Jeremy Ferris

G’day Jones - quick personal one for you, but first a little context: I’m an auctioneer by trade and will warm up in the car on the way to an auction, occasionally with the Museum song from Barnum. I did catch the episode where you shared the video of you starring in it... My question is this - do you remember the lyrics? Care to treat us with a demo? If not, congrats on the studio. Looking forward to seeing if your desk position remains far left or if you return to the second seat as per the good ol’ GT days!

A few days ago, my wife returned after meeting our good friend’s newborn, and regaled me with tales about the child’s beauty, intelligence, and joy. And Jones, let me tell you, this baby is no big deal. It’s loud, uninteresting, and is, frankly, a little more ugly than the average baby. But my wife loves this mediocre child because of her love for the parent, and that’s good enough for me. Jones… sometimes I feel that the nine Allies are the parent, and your content is the ugly baby. I adore you all, which makes me greatly enjoy most of what you publish, but what content aside from reviews are created without personalities as the selling point? Game Sleuth is an exceptional example of your “Recommended Videos” potential: something that can be sold by the headline alone with mass appeal. It being your highest viewed video by a wide margin is no accident, and the next highest viewed video that isn’t a reaction or review is Kyle’s Spiderman costume review, another example of mass appeal without relying on personality. Several channels I follow were discovered this way (check out Gamechamp3000’s VG Myths, especially “Can You Beat Super Mario Odyssey Without Jumping?” which has mad Pop Fiction vibes). Without content for genpop, you are missing out on opportunities for growth from those ignorant of your brand. I understand your Patreons are your first priority, and you owe your stockholders what they were promised, but has this type of content been discussed? What is Easy Allies going to do in 2019 to make me love the baby, not just the parent?

G the Finger

The first episode of game sleuth recently passed one million views! This kind of content is obviously drawing new eyes to EZA. In an earlier episode of cup of Jones you said the goal was to put out one new retro series a year and one game slueth a quarter. 2018 saw no new retros series and only three game slueths. What happened in 2018 make EZA miss those goals and what's being done to make sure those goals can be met in 2019?

klastical

Do you think the Happy Potter movie franchise will ever be rebooted in the (probably distant) future?

Evan Charles Teague

Hi, Brandon. Happy New Year to you, your family and everyone in the community! Firstly, for the love of all the Gods... do check "Battle Chef Brigade", afaik, none of the Allies even mentioned it, at all and it's a truly great game that if you see it, you will absolutely agree with me that it would be loved by all of the Allies, even Kyle would say: "Damn, this game is really cool!". Just watch "Battle Chef Brigade: PAX West Trailer - Nintendo Switch" and then mark it for the next group stream. If you really aren't bothered to watch a 1:10 video, just know it's Anime + Metroidvania + Beat 'Em Up + Overcooked + Tetris, sounds completely wrong that all of this could work, right?! But it does and that's the beauty of it and why almost everyone who plays it, loves it. Also there's a Deluxe version now that makes the game even better. Best time to check it out. And hopefully this will create more awareness for it. Now on to the actual question, while writing a question to the 2019 Predictions, I started to think of how the Allies don't involve much with the community beyond the Chat, Community Showcase, Q & A, and Cup of Jones. Then I started to think of things the Allies could do to involve the community more, the famous "Jolly Co-operation", and one of the ideas which I find would be truly great for both the community, but also the Allies, is regarding the very controversial "Top 10s". It would be great if in the video and description of the Top 10, the Allies asked the community for their Top 10 of that subject, for example, imagine a Top 10 Tows made by the community, I'm certain that this would be very enlightnening and educating to most of the Allies, after all it wouldn't just be 9 people and I'm sure the community would think of a lot of other towns the Allies never even seen or remember anymore. This is just an example, but in the case of Top 10s, would be a great way to help alleviate many of the frustrations a lort of the community has with most Top 10s, as they could add their voices to an unified list that was made by the community itself and have that in an official video that while didn't have the input of the Allies, is present on the channel and is a companion to the Allies' one. Also, while in this example I focused on Top 10s as a way to engage with the community, other ideas for other shows would include: - The EZA Podcast could a main or second intro game created by the community, Kyle is solely in charge of that from what you've all always said, but I'm sure the community could create some really fun intro games - again, one person vs hundreds or even thousands of people since the EZA Podcast is the most watched weekly show on the channel. - For Frame Trap, it could benefit from having input from the community, an example would be that Ben could ask the people he plans on having in the next Frame Trap what they plan to talk about, announce that and gather a few comments, not questions, just comments that would definitely enrich the conversation, specially in situations where only one of the people have played the game or watched a movie or TV show, but others in the community that did could add their thoughts to make an even more rich discussion. - For Fancy Fifteen, since it's an exclusive show for Patrons, it would be nice to have a bonus segment at the end of the first round, where the Patrons could first name 9 games, one for each of the Allies to check - for example, Brandon = Chrono Cross, Ian = Battle Chef Brigade, Don - Dino Crisis, etc. Finally, the most mentioned games would be tallied and each of the Allies would check for 15 minutes the game that got most nominated for them. This could even be expanded in some fun ways, like "Triple 15", but then it would be a separate video for each Ally, or a "Double 10" with starting counting from actual gameplay". Again, these are only suggestions, but I hope that you guys seriously consider of new ways in which to involve the community. The fact that the "Recruit Me Special" already has 25.000 views is amazing, and shows that the viewers are more than ready to embrace more involvement from the community. My question is: Can you please share these ideas with the Allies on the next time you guys meet? L & R

Daniel Ribeiro

Hey Brandon, I have a question about Spoiler Mode and the exclusivity for Patreons. Does this make it harder to get guests, because of the limited number of viewers? Can we expect more high profile guests like Cory Barlog after the studio? Thanks, L&R.

Erick Galdino

Jeez that's asking bit much tbh.

Ian Patterson esquire.

Hey Dr Jones, been a supporter since Day 1, and this is my first time asking a question. :) I really wanted to get you this comment/idea to you, before too much work is done in the new studio. Any chance you guys could start filming a lot of the 'before', look of the studio. then and 'After' video as a comparison? Once the studio has been revealed I'm assuming you plan on making a video-tour-of-jones, of the completed workspace? I think it would fit well into a video like that. I'm probably not wording that correctly, but I mean it in a way that home reno shows do it. Where theres a 'pan-shot' of the before and as the camera sweeps across the room it fades into the 'new', post-reno look. I'm not trying to add to your workload, but it seems someone as talented as my fellow Ian, could pull that off fairly easily. Thanks for everything you guys do over there L&R.

Ian Patterson esquire.

Rime didn't get a higher score than Breath of the Wild. They got the same score, which, sure may look a little crazy on its own if you just look at numbers, but one reason we moved away from the 5 star system is because we felt like each score took up such a broad chunk of the scale. But 4.5 stars is the only option Damiani had below a full 5-star score. I'll let Brandon address the actual purpose of your question though. -Bloodworth

Easy Allies

I dont know if this has been answered but will you guys paint the walls for the studio and/or whats something you plan on putting thats different?

Sekiro505

Hi Brandon! How much do you guys know about your audience? I'm talking average age, gender distribution and where they are located. I'm especially interested in hearing about the percentage of non-american viewers. Do you mind sharing some statistics?

Dennis M.

Jones I was watching the latest Easy Update with Ian and Bosman and found myself getting super annoyed at Kyle’s constant dogging of RDR2. He specifically talked about the shooting and how he thinks Rockstar just didn’t try to make that fun. It seems like he in particular has been pushing against the grain of the artistic intent of that game. What’re your thoughts about people consciously intaking something in a way the the creator did not intend and then having a sour opinion of it?

Andrew Burt

Hey Jones! I was watching some old QAs and heard Brad sincerely bring up that he would like to review the next Zelda. This was scoffed at by Damiani and others, but why? The Legend of Zelda series is near and dear to A LOT of gamers hearts, and it seems a bit unfair, to both the audience and the Allies, that Damiani gets a monopoly over the reviews just because. I happen to disagree with a lot of Damianis assessment of Zelda as a franchise and would like to hear from different critical perspectives. (Blood correction edit) So anyways I dont know if you have considered this as a problem in the past, but I propose a solution for this specific case. A 1v1, best 2 out of 3, Zelda characters only, Super Smash Bros tournament between Damiani and Brad over who gets to review the next mainline Zelda. Lnr

D.M. Deyo

Hey Brandon, I'm the guy doing the EZA Weekly Clips and I just want to make sure you're OK with me doing it. Like Bosman said, you can't officially endorse it because it sets a precedent for random people using your videos, and I just don't want to step on any toes. When Damiani said on his stream that they were done, he said it was something the community would have to pick it up if it was going to continue, so I took that as it being OK. I'm not monetizing the channel and I make it clear in the channel and video descriptions that it's not an official channel. But if you'd rather I didn't do it, no problem, just let me know. L&R and can't wait to see all you do this year!

Kris Fredrick

Are you excited about any of the proximity FOOD options around the studio?

Master Pantz

Mr. Jones, Do you have any impressive claims to physical feats such as running a marathon, an impressive bench press weight, outstanding jump clearance, or splitting an arrow at 200 paces? What have you done physically that you are proud of and is there any feat you have in mind to accomplish in the future? Respectfully, Morgan Mohalla

Morgan Mohalla

How did you propose to Amanda?

Christopher Peterson

Mr. Jones, You can file this one under personal, because definitely is not business. Also, feel free to disregard if my assumption is incorrect. If I understood things correctly, you were an audience member at the game awards, correct? You were there for the whole show at the theater. If that is the case, I want to know how the "devil trigger" performance went in your eyes. Love & Respect. César.

César Villa

I wonder if the people who are vehemently against DLC are too young to remember expansion packs. I mean, C&C Red Alert in the mid 90s had 2, and they were about £20 each. With inflation and the damage from things like Brexit, that's like £1million each. Are you not hiring a cleaner for your new 6 room studio? It sounds like you're not. I'd rather some of the Patreon money went towards a cleaner, so that you guys can spend more time worrying about content, rather than whether the bins have been taken out.

Kif

Replying to save it. :)

You Saved a Life Dearest Mr. Jones. In the past, I’ve written how my financial situation had gotten from bad to worse. I had to drop from $5 to $2, and then down to $1. Yet, no matter how bad my situation got, I always made it a point and a priority to at least be able to support you guys. 2018 started out bad, and quickly got worse. It did so to a point where I had to drop out entirely. As a creative freelance writer, it’s tough to come up with good material when your focus is… elsewhere, to put it mildly. Then, the September HOGS happened. Never mind the fact you brought my favorite game of all time, FF6, but it was how you put it forth. You knew your crowd, you knew your material, and you knew your strengths, and you knew you had to go all out. There was no other way. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a small victory, sure but, if you’re not gonna give it your all to the things you love the most, then why bother, right? With lesson learned and put into practice, the last couple months of 2018 turned around dramatically. Got a project approved for financing, landed a gig on a Netflix show (Latin America), got paid, cleared crippling debts, and if you’ll excuse my French, landed back on my fucking feet. I’m a man of my word, and while I can’t buy you all color-matching yachts just yet, I’m finally able to bump my pledge up, and if the projects I have planned for 2019 pan out, I’ll up again. Simply put and to avoid any more drama, you sir, with the 8 gentlemen beside you and the content you produce, have SAVED A LIFE. Your burning passion, your humbling transparency, your impeccable demeanor, your strength of character, your unwavering integrity, are inspiring pillars. Please know that in a time where it’s desperately needed, the 9 of you are putting Good into this world. And for that, you have my thanks. L&R

Happy New Year Jones! I am wondering; will there be a Patrons' 2018 Game of the Year that will be decided by EZA Patrons, like there was in 2017? I predict there won't be one because of the lack of polls that have been on here, but I was wondering if the category is returning or not. Thank you, L&R

jif52

Hi Jones, Happy New Year. Long time listener, first time caller here. This could be business or personal but I was wondering, how do you balance the drive to continually learn, improve, grow and change for the future with the need to accept the way things are and to love and enjoy the present? Thanks, L&R.

fuyunotabi

Hey Jones, how do you feel about physical or downloadable games? I'm personally a collector but even if I don't plan on keeping a game I'd like the option to sell or trade it for other games. I understand the convenience but I feel some are missing out on the added value when buy the physical game. How do you feel about this? Also, out of all the other allies who do you think is the biggest gaming collector? Thanks.

gamerjerome

It's been two days and there's no audio post :(

David Warren

Hi Brandon, my question to you is has there been any conversations or considerations to updating any of the graphics for any of the podcasts or shows? I think with the move to a new studio, a refresh is order as well. Thanks, Jhakai

Jhakai Nembhard

Hi Brandon! With the upcoming studio move, presumably involving better stage setup and improved lighting, would it make sense to revisit the possibility of shooting some of your videos in 4K? Transferring massive footage files and longer editing times probably make it impractical for reviews, but lightly edited content (Podcast, Frame Trap, Tabletop Escapades) might be feasible. It would help your videos stand out on Youtube, and would be a nice treat for the ever increasing number of viewers owning 4K TVs.

Piotr Dittrich

Hello Brandon! Easy Allies is very transparent in my opinion, especially when it comes to your processes and goals. Now, there are some areas in the financial department, that are a bit more blurry to me, which is why I ask about them today. To make it clear: I do not think that you owe us those information, and I am totally aware that a business can't have every detail in the public. So - total understanding and no hard feelings from my side, if you can't answer any of the following things. I'm simply curious, and asking doesn't hurt. What is the rent for your studio, and what do you expect to pay for energy and internet? How much money is coming in through Twitch Subscriptions and PayPal donations, in an average month? (So maybe not December 2018) How do you decide if a game purchase is financed through the company or by the personal money of that person? (Can you retroactively make a game purchase a business-expense, if you talk about it on Frame Trap?) To what degree is the merchandising contributing to your funds? Besides the studio, is there anything else that you plan, and possibly save money for? (eg. putting money aside for a trip to GamesCom.) What are the external costs, that you regularly have? (eg. insurance or lawyers) And the big one for last: What is the salary of that your company is paying it's members? Again: I have total understanding if you won't answer any of this. I don't demand those information, i'm just curious and give it a shot. Maybe it's interesting for you to see, what your supporters are thinking about, that you didn't expect. It is also interesting for me to see, where and why you draw a line in terms of transparency - a line that understandably has to be drawn, when considering the responsibility that you and Blood are shouldering. Love and Respect, Snowcone Guy PS: Some new Twitch emotes would be nice.

Snowcone Guy

Hey Brandon. Selfish version of question: Will the jar of EZA starbits follow you into the new studio set and be featured in the background as it is now for the podcast etc? Less selfish version of question: Will all the gifts and paintings done that is in the back of the podcast etc be following you guys into the new studio set?

Simon Andersson

Thanks for answering the question about pushing through that grind stone. I think it's interesting just because as my own boss there is that part of my brain that is always saying you HAVE to get this done, because no one else is going to do it for you. But there are pitfalls as well if you don't step back. I appreciate the ideas shared on conquering it.

Nintendo Prime

Love Amanda's shirt. Very plain yet unique!

Mac

Hello Mr. Brandon, What would you say is the areas of opportunity of EZA and what are the things you are most proud of the group, any stream, any goal, any shout out that you were given? Gracias!

Daniel Garza Andrade

They have done L&R only podcasts in the past, was kinda surprised there wasn't one this year

VGJunky

Hey Jones, I'm glad you are back from vacation!! I noticed that you guys didn't have a podcast last week and I really missed it. Some podcasters will record a podcast a head of time before they go on vacation and have it post the week they miss. Maybe you guys can do this next year, but it's just a thought not a big deal but it definitely made my week feel emptier.

Hey Jones, I think I missed the cutoff for questions last week so, I'm re-submitting my post below: I became a patron shortly after E3 last year and spent the next several months catching up on all of these 1-on-1 sessions with your audience to better understand EZA and its history and to make sure I wasn't repeating a question. For me, the opportunity to go to these "investor meetings" and get insight into the business of EZA was a big pull for why I became a patron. Anyhow, I finally caught up near the end of the year and thought that 2019 would be a good time to begin asking some questions of my own. Although we can probably glean your thoughts on this from other answers, I wanted to ask you outright... from your perspective, what is EZA’s competitive advantage/value proposition? What makes EZA different or special when compared to other streamers/content creators/channels/etc.? I have my own opinions on what those might be, but I'd love to know what you have identified and what your group is doing to take advantage of those strengths. Thanks! L&R

FatherCashew

Hey Brandon, Many Happy Returns of the New Year! I know you guys are SWAMPED right now with tasks but Just a quick Question regarding "EZAnniversary 2019". Do you have a Weekend in Mind? I missed it last year and just wanted to try and plan for it this year. God Speed, MyxeQ

Mikey "MyxeQ" Novak

Hi Jones, I hope you had a great break! Personally I enjoy most EZA content, but Fiasconauts has always been my favourite, and I'd love a little insight, if you can offer some, into how the players are selected. Does Ian arrange who will play well in advance, or does it just depend on who's around and wants to play? My favourites have been Jessica and Amanda, and I'd love to see them appear again, with the studio move - is Amanda likely to play more, or less often? What's your favourite Fiasco been? And will there be a Fiasconauts this January?

Franky

Hey, Jones. I wanted to ask a sorta tough question this time out. Speaking of tough questions, It seems to me like there aren't a lot of interviews in gaming where people ask them (directly, at least). Capcom is currently implementing some really slimy monetization policies in SFV, but no one in games journalism is going to corner any of the people at Capcom and hold their feet to the fire (not literally, that would be a crime). I look at an operation like Easy Allies, and I think about how it would be impossible for you guys to attempt something like that, as you would certainly lose all access to that developer from that point moving forward. It seems like now is the time when game fans need to have a voice calling for accountability more than ever, yet the way the system is built (the need for review copies and access at publicity events) seems tailor made to discourage that kind of action. What do you think about this? Do you think the big dogs would have enough weight to ask the tough questions? Is there an avenue for this kind of confrontational consumer activism in games journalism? Honestly, I'm not sure if there is a satisfying answer and it sorta bums me out...

James Kennedy

Yo Jones! Quick question regarding the process involving top tens; how exactly do you guys decide on whether to do a super serious “top ten scariest games” sort of list vs one that’s more fun and jokey like “top ten silver foxes”? What kind of lists do you prefer? I’m not too much of a fan of lists that aren’t in some way a bit of a laff, but boy oh boy am I 1000% in on a well written list of goofy material.

Mr M

Do any of those no disclosure patreons have goals tied to monetary amounts? I think it comes down to “I’m paying to help this content creator achieve their goals” vs “I’m paying for exclusive rewards from a conteny creator” more than anything else, and because of that places that don’t need their Patreon as much as a small gaming group like eza do don’t need to disclose how much they’re earning since the base they already have are sustaining them well enough through quality tiered rewards.

Mr M

Hello Jones. One of my favorite parts of goty last year was the specific categories (Shotgun/Economy of the Year, etc.). Seeing as your goty deliberations are near. I wanted to suggest 2 new categories for this year. Assuming that there is still time and room to add more. Monster of the Year Examples: Baselgeuse (Monster Hunter World) Ahtal-Ka (Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate) Redeye (Octopath Traveler) King Metal Slimes (Dragon Quest 11) Uneasy Alliance of the Year Examples: Kratos and Atreus (God of War) Brok and Sindri (God of War) Vincent Moretti and Leo Caruso (A Way Out) The Van der Linde gang (Red Dead Redemption 2) That's all. Looking forward to another great year of content. L&R.

Shoulderguy

Hi Brandon, what do you think about more an more Patreons not disclosing their earnings? For EZA it isn‘t an issue because for the forseeable future you‘ll have goals to work towards and with how many people are involved you‘re obviously not in danger of getting rich. For me, transparency is VERY important when it comes to anything crowdfunded and while I understand people are reluctant to tell the public how much money they make, not being able to get a feel how successful an operation is in relation to the effort that‘s put in is not acceptable. More and more creators are asking for money so I think the audience deserves to know how big of an impact their contribution makes so they can better decide who to support. When you decide to crowdfund, that should be an obligation, just like you‘d have responsibility to shareholders when you decide to get money by emitting shares.

Is there a full list of games that were the choices for Fancy Fifteen? I'm pretty choked that .hack parts 1-4 weren't kept by someone who should treasure them :P My 100 ish game PS2 collection weeps :P SMT Nocturne same thing, but that's on the shelf. No idea what that Japanese looking PS2 game is for example. I got excited when Brad grabbed Stretch Panic. I didn't watch the later ones, but saw Huber did pick Koudelka which would be perfect for him :P Also since the studio should have shelves, will there be a beginning of a game library? Edit: Also the Japanese demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 is super short. Some amount of fun you could suck out of it, but yeah the full release in English needs to hurry up

Hello! For Community Showcase submissions (and Q&A and the like), would it be possible to just leave a comment in the post yourselves when you collect submissions? That way patrons could see that they've missed the deadline right above (hopefully) where they'd write their comments.

Tyson Nguyen

Hi, I'm wondering about what happened to your streaming layout. I liked it when it was fullscreen game and a small camera window in it. Now, there's a huge background with patreon link and whatnot, that takes a lot of space, and sometimes, makes camera even smaller. I don't watch a lot of other streams, but when I do I notice that usually that kind of layout you use during the entire stream (with sponsors, logos, chat etc) appears in the beginning and the end of the stream and on occasion, like research breaks. The majority of the stream however has the game fullscreen. E.g.: https://i.imgur.com/E8uUHkf.jpg. I like it a lot that way and hope you can consider my suggestion to have the game fullscreen for the most part.

Sergey P.

Hey Mr. Jones! While discussing the dark period that will be the move into the studio, I was reminded about the missed month episode of Trailer Jones, so I have a two-part question: 1.) Is that episode now lost, never to be made up and 2.) More broadly, in the past, because of other projects or circumstances, there have been missed or late videos. Of these, what, in your opinion was the one you have the biggest regret in letting slip? Thanks as always for reading my question and have a great rest of your day! Cheers! P.S.: Come on now sir. I can’t skip a “live” week! 😉
