As for Max, he was an editor for Defy who was assigned to cut GTNews and some of our other things and he liked to hop in on some of our stuff from time to time. He was laid off a year before we were closed down. He was then brought in on a freelance basis, but was only there to work on edits for other properties. Haven’t kept in touch, so no idea if he was still working for Defy when they announced they were closing. -Bloodworth
